I never classed the two cut backs as chances as there was no one there. Was good work getting in position and ball was put in nice position but unless people there to finish it’s not a chance in my book.

I think blaming Dykes for not being there for 2 crosses is clutching at straws here to blame him. Need to look elsewhere and I’d include manager

It is disturbing that people who get paid for football acumen cannot see how bad Dykes really is. What are they seeing that the rest of us can't. Indeed what have our last three managers seen that we haven't?!

What chances did we have when 0-0? Don’t you mean the 1 cross that went to no one as both went running into box rather than holding back? I’d blame more the coaching of that situation and where were runners from midfield? Maybe I'm being harsh mate, but I'm sure the stat against Luton was 25 crosses and no goals. Gotta be either serious problem with your front line or the quality of your crossing (or probably both in fact) to conjure up a stat like that.

I suppose playing Dykes as a lone striker with no support from the midfield doesn`t make him any better.

I suppose playing Dykes as a lone striker with no support from the midfield doesn`t make him any better. he was playing with chair, shodipo (had a good game) and roberts who're all creative attack minded players. i've said time and time again that strikers don't need to be out and out goalscorers nowadays - their job is to lead the line, draw out defenders and cause chaos in the final third to open up space for other players. dykes doesn't do that and is instead completely anonymous game in game out. defenders love playing against him because they know they're gunna be in for a very easy time.

Bonne and his style of play would probably fit in better with the above mentioned players. Just a pity he hasn`t got many chances. Ps. Not saying he is the answer.... On a sidenote: Dykes played ok alongside Charlie Austin.

Dykes to Rangers is concrete and the donkey was up in Glasgow over the pasr few days. Lets hope old fat face gets done today and pins his hat on Dykes to bail him out

What makes you say Dykes joining Beale is real 73? Ok Dykes was seen on tv in Scotland celebrating new year but like a lot of people so would If on a footballers salary.

Not out of the question I suppose considering the low quality shown by the old firm Derby today, Dion Sanderson being linked now.

I thought Sanderson was really poor last season. Never had the greatest period can’t see I’m wanting to return.

Fantastic first half performances. Done everything right.
Faded second half but still put it in.
Well done Lyndon. If only he could get some bit of consistency he’d be brilliant.

Happy with him tonight that was a good runout from him.

Effort was there but lacks the awareness in a penalty area for a number 9.

I thought he did real well tonight, his best match in awhile, doesn't look like scoring which is an issue obviously for a player in his position and I don't think he will hold up playing like that for 90 every match, we definitely need some help there!
