i really don't get the love for dykes from the media/other fans. It's an odd one. Can only think it's because he looks the part, but looks are deceiving. Tall and has the build so has all the physical attributes to intimidate and be a good player but just lacks the talent to harness it. Another possible reason is he has good patches in games where he's decent for 20-30 mins (usually at the beginning), but never consistently or over a full 90. |

I still think he would be better in a 2. And he tends to play better when Kakay plays as he whips the ball in quickly, rather than passing it into the box.
But I would love to see him go and someone else come in. And then stick a fiver on Dykes being top goalscorer!

I don’t think it’s a hard gig as Gallen says. I think most fans have accepted he’s never going to be s prolific scorer and if he got 6/8 goals a season but roughed up defenders and had better all round game people would accept that. But he don’t get goals or rough up defenders so he’s pointless |

I had pneumonia myself 2 years ago about 6 months after my first dose of covid. It wasn't much fun and I was knackered for a few weeks.
Apparently it killed 1,400 people in England and Wales in the first week of January which is a huge number.
I've noticed the mainstream media haven't given us a counter for that on the news, or had us on the doorstep clapping the NHS.
