I’d recall Alfie Lloyd too. Scoring is a nice habit. Let’s see if he can step up. 19 is old enough. Even Man U stuck a 17 year old on for experience yesterday.

From what I’ve seen of Alfie Lloyd (maybe 4 or 5 times as he was injured most of last season) don’t think he’s as far forward as Armstrong, maybe his loan will sharpen his appetite but goes missing and had a slim physique.
Be interested to hear other opinions that have seen him play for us.

TBF we have said no striker on the pitch would be better than Donkey! Didn't see the game, but have read many comments on social media that without Dykes we made things far to easy for Hull in forward positions. It might not be saying much but, the way things are, we are better with him than without. Hope he's out of hospital soon and on the road to recovery. Expect to be without him for at least 3-4 weeks as he regains fitness. |
