Clarke gets the best out of him. Unfortunately our shit managers and co-players doesn't know how to use him. If only that was all it is.

9 goals for Scotland is not too shabby a record for Dykes. Scotland wide/front players tend to run beyond him where as our wide guys play most of their stuff outside of the box.

Think one problem is for us he is completely isolated and when he does get a knock down or flick on he is not good enough to control it, so it could go anywhere really. To get anything out of him you need players around him. It wouldn't turn him into a world beater but it would play to his strengths.

A lot of his Scotland goals have come directly from set-pieces. In general, Scotland play to Dykes's strengths a bit better than we do. I'm not sure that's all there is to it though. He just seems to show up a lot more in Scotland shirt than he does for us for whatever reason.

But he doesn’t, he so, so doesn’t. He gets more patience shown than any dodgy player I’ve ever watched here. Not once have I heard the crowd on his back nor any jeering. Even when he falls over his feet in the six yard box. He’s even got that stupid ‘best on Earth’ song! Looks ok for Scotland, three years in Hoops says different.

Well, I said that slightly tongue in cheek.
That said, some of the vile stuff on social media and message boards about him is pretty offensive (way above 'bants' level) - if he's reading any of that then I can only say he's pretty thick-skinned.

Played about 110 games for both. And our supporters attacked Redknapp for that.

Just sell him ffs.
Sick of seeing him on the pitch week in and week out.
Sick of seeing his silly tattoos and stupid hair cuts.
Sick of seeing his name on this thread.
Get rid of the useless tosser, now.

Might get more than £2m before the window is out. As daft as that sounds. His stock is high after a good performance for Scotland and strikers are in short supply.

Another assist tonight.
Better players around him? Steve Clarke a manager that seems to get the best out of him? Raises his game for internationals?
Either way it's boosting his profile & price which is good for QPR.

Kargbo looks raw but would be shocked if he’s a downgrade on farking Dykes.
Hopefully either Kargbo or Armstrong can form a partnership with Kolli early doors.

Hope they turn out to be the next Allen and Goddard but neither have scored a senior goal. If we go into next season with them as our strike force it would be what I think they used to call on "Yes Minister" a "very bold decision".

i think armstrong will come into his own next season. assuming dykes leaves and martin stays though we'll be in an awful position with martin, kelman, armstrong and kargbo being our only strikers up top.
we need to act fast and bring in either langstaff or mullin to plug that gap imo.

Kargbo is nearly 2 yrs older than Armstrong and his development has been slow in comparison and without any hype, so difficult to judge although senior football apps point to Armstrong being better. Ive seen Kargbo maybe 4 times in live streams and would still prefer Armstrong’s main attribute of pace over Kargbo physicality. Ive only seen Kolli once in a last 20 min sub cameo at the end of last season and he looks the best long term prospect of our strikers but still only 18. It was very noticeable that all our players were eager to pass to him at every opportunity around the box to make something happen.

Not sure if he's a really a striker. Could work in a two. Also not sure if Gareth fancies him, kind of doubt that.
