Just to be a bit more positive as my fellow fans seem quite down after yesterday, just imagine IF we survive (which I think we will) and IF (as is suggested) there is a bit more headroom for FFP in the close season, what this squad would be with a half decent striker? I genuinely think next season could be quite exciting with a CEO whose background is data-driven recruitment. Marti is no fool, he knows the limitations but he doesn’t gain anything from expressing frustration with factors he can’t change (Dykes being useless, Richards being a waster). As fans we all want it now but I honestly think if we are patient this season and continue to get behind the team we could surprise a few people next season.

Has to say that publicly. What did he do that was good? Was anonymous for all of his 63 mins. Literally. We have to rotate and use this useless bastard as Frey isn’t up to 90 mins yet and not getting the goals we need despite his work rate and muscles is muscles who done 10 x better than the jock when he come on at least getting 3 shots on target. Marti is no fool. He must be able to see how shit Dykes is. Everyone else can. if we need to rotate we can do it without dykes imo. go for a front 4 of willock, chair, smyth and andersen linking up and alternating between them who's up top at any one point. no out and out striker but skill, trickery, hard work, link up play and runs to unlock defences to run behind. it's not ideal as it rules out long balls and battering defences but dykes doesn't even contribute there either lol so it's certainly better than playing dykes up top. all he ever contributes is a body for set pieces.

Easy to imagine, Stains. Only got to look at the difference Frey makes - and we might be able to attract better than him. Useless Wanker wanders about flat footed watching CBs with the ball and Frey competes from the front. Frey, no world beater, makes runs in the box and we look dangerous. Useless Wanker never on the move, never in the right place. Decent striker transforms a side.

He was incredibly lazy yesterday. Never put any pressure on their defenders with his casual jogging. Also stopped his movement three meters before defenders to allow them to pass the ball freely. Unbelievable really.

Decent striker transforms a side. macauley langstaff would still be top of my list tbh. 23 goals in 37 games for a midtable notts county team. likely has a gentleman's agreement that he can leave notts county in the event they don't get promoted as he had clubs circling last summer after scoring 42 goals in the NL. wouldn't cost much either and personally i see him as one of those rare goalscorer types who will score goals no matter the league they're playing in. having the likes of sincs, frey and langstaff as our options up top is a very tasty prospect for me tbh. all offer something different as a striker and imo we wouldn't be in this position next season with those 3 as our strike force. sell dykes, cut off the other bits of dead wood, dish out some new contracts and pray that palace sell eze and we could be in a great position next year.

Scots didn’t fancy Dykes vs Van Dijk… Lyndon on the bench against the Dutch.

Poor Lyndon he can’t get a break 😂😂 not often English and Scot’s agree on something.
Hopefully end of season we can do something with him as this can’t carry on fans have made mind up, rightly so, and he probably needs fresh start.

Hopefully has a good euros. Many a dud has been signed after a good international tournament.
I think teams will be interested problem will be what they value him at v what we do think it will be is that need to compromise.

If you can’t make a mark against NI……? the Donkey stroll was there to see in the brief highlights.

Please God someone take this useless bastard off our hands. other clubs seem to rate him as on paper and looks alone he doesn't have a terrible record considering his background. from stats alone he looks like a decent championship handful type of striker with international pedigree. there will be someone out there who will want him. maybe another championship team, SPL or even saudi side lol.

I'm genuinely at the point of I'd take absolutely nothing to get him out of the club. If it frees us of his lethargic, shit 'style' and frees up wages that's a big win for me. We should accept anything to get shot. Totally had it with this guy a long time ago.

So refreshing not having to see him start or come on.
Hopefully can move him on as soon as the season is done and wipe our hands of him finally.
Worst permanent forward we've ever ever had and I genuinely believe that.
Can see him starting at Swansea Monday. Marti rotating the squad accordingly so buckle up for another frustrating one.

You could tell from his body language during the warm-up that he wasn't happy. Looked disinterested. Terrible attitude. We need to shift this bloke on ASAP.
