If that offer was genuine from Millwall amazing we didn't take it. Hopefully Brum will "do a Dozzell" and buy him close season, can probably offer them a few more to sweeten the deal.

Absolutely shocking. genuinely up there as one of the most stupid things our board have done for me. we know he's shit, he's not going to improve and we had an offer on the table to sell him. why they thought tying him down to a new and likely improved 4 year deal is completely beyond me. even if we had sold him and he went on to score 20+ goals at his new club i wouldn't have had any ill will towards the club as he'd been dreadful for 3 seasons. |

Given the proper coaching you could turn Dykes from a £1.5 million player into a £10,£15 eventually a £20 million player. He could reach the same levels as Mitrovic of Fulham, at least, within a couple of seasons, pretty quickly. If you know how to do it. |

Lots of fans predict all sorts of crap. Nature of message boards. Loads of posters thought Gareth Ainsworth would be brilliant.
In fairness to that poster, I remember fairly early on with Dykes (maybe Luton or Watford away) and we finally won (from memory) 1-0 after a terrible run and he was charging about and tackling like a demon. The consensus was we had a really raw striker but one with promise. As it turned out there was no natural talent there to coach/ improve. Worse for me is if you are quite limited you at least run about like Smyth. But compared to that early version of himself Dykes doesn’t even bother to do that (bar the odd game like Plymouth away where he suddenly looks half interested). Some players improve; others regress massively.

That's where he was either deluded or just trolling. Suspect it was the latter as he wasn't a QPR fan and only signed up when Dykes joined then disappeared without a trace after a few months |

Advice to Marti and Dykes, Between come up with a fitness issue for the next 3 games as we cannot carry this guy no more. Hope for him to score in the Euro's and after todays result for Rangers will mean they go for him.
