I know I’m in the minority here. But I just don’t get the hate towards him. No point arguing about it more. Let’s just enjoy the win. James, minority or not, all views and debate is welcomed. Agree that 1st half was one of his rare better performances. It's also obviously not his fault that successive managers keep picking him. Blame the managers for that, not the player. I also agree that he does at least try and does play to the best of his capabilities which unfortunately happen to be very limited!

Definitely one of his better games, which as others have said isn’t saying much. Think it will be one of his last for us though and rightly so.

Committed to the club 😂😂😂😂 James, mate. He’s committed to his fucking pay packet. When someone is getting paid multiple multiple thousands of pounds a week and put in the shit he puts in nine times out of 10 he deserves every fucking thing he gets. For the record and for the 10,000th time, I fucking hate him as a footballer. I know I’m in the minority here. But I just don’t get the hate towards him. No point arguing about it more. Let’s just enjoy the win. It’s about the time he’s been here mate, plus the fact that he CAN put in a reasonable team performance occasionally, even though he hasn’t got much idea, so clearly can’t be arsed for weeks on end. No secret I’ve been coming here a long time and I can honestly say no player has EVER been shown so much patience by the fans.

If he can put in the effort he showed first half (just the work helps the team even if he is shit) because he’s on the telly, the Euro squads are coming up and the jocks have been slating him lately then I’d question his honesty because he’s been cheating us week in, week out.

He just needs to score one goal in the Euros and we could get a decent fee and move on. Best for both sides I guess think

I reckon his sudden upturn in form is to do with the Euros. He wants to go.

Lot of fans willing him (and even some others) to go but it all depends on someone wanting to buy. Personally think it’s pretty likely here will be here next season.

There was a moment on Saturday when we were counter attacking and one of our players, think it was Willock, was dribbling just beyond the half way line out on the right wing, right in front of Ellerslie. Their left back was nowhere to be seen leaving acres of space further up the pitch out wide. The situation was screaming out for Dykes to make a diagonal run into space, where he could have easily latched onto a ball 5 yards in from the sideline/10 yards outside the box. That would have allowed Willock to run inside where a ball back from Dykes would have given Willock a one on one with their cb, the other one having gone with Dykes. Very similar to the chance Miller created but fluffed for them. Instead he stayed central, between the two cb’s and didn’t give Willock an option. That sums him up unfortunately. Very very limited football brain. Couple that with a seeming lack of effort and you really do have a terribly player.

Same as Muscles to be fair, no idea, but maybe he still has time to learn. Frey knows where to run…..just can’t 😂

Made at least two important defensive clearances. One header from back post and stopped one shot/pass with his chest.

So what we're really saying is that he's not really an attacker, but he's a bit of a defender, so should we call him a Defacker? Or maybe an Affender. He's certainly affended me, and I think he plays like a defacker.

How about when the jock was through one on one. Rather than take two touches and shoot, he leathers it first time from 40 yards out completely missing the goal.
Completely shit.

Two of our group bet on him to score a brace for a bit of a laugh in the pub before. That miss cost them £300 each !

Was just about to shout him why the hell did you take such an early shot when it went in. Goal of the season.

Please don’t ever mention them both in the same sentence ever again mate 😂 Didn’t Remy score his first 3 QPR goals with his first shot or am I imagining that? I was at West Ham away at Upton Park when he scored on his debut with a first time shot.

In the situation he found himself in where he shot wide from distance, he could have still taken a touch before getting a shot off. Either away from the defender or what about diagonally across the defender so he’s smack bang between them and the ball. Likelihood is he draws a foul as last man meaning the defending sees red and we get a penalty. As they say, it’s not rocket science.
