Ideally like 2 strikers both with real pace.
I know that is greedy but what the hell.

If we could get a chunky fee for him on top of Armstrong that would be very good business absolutely would be a sign that we have perhaps turned corner and are able generate income from player sales over seeing everyone leave on a free. Especially when you think neither were quite good enough for the starting 11 we will have raised money without really weakening the team.

I'm sure it's a directive from the new management. If a player is close to moving on and we want the transfer to happen, we don't risk them getting injured.

Does Marti want Dykes to stay? He did seem grumpy at the question.

Everyone assuming he was "unavailable" as he is about to be sold. Probably the right assumption and Marti obviously did not like being put in the position of not being able or wanting to answer the question or maybe he wants to keep Dykes in the squad
But imagine in an alternative universe that Dykes declared himself unavailable if he was told he would start on the bench as third choice striker. I think Marti would be grumpy about that as well and equally would not go into reasons.
We are not leaking details of pending transfers but others are - but nothing re Dykes from anyone reliable that I have seen. All a bit strange as you would think something more definite would be hitting the ITK press/boards from a buyer. Will be glad when the window closes and we all know who we have or do not have.

Maybe because we've accepted a bid this time, and given some clubs permission to negotiate personal terms? if so bids will have had to have come in after last Saturday as he played and scored. Maybe are bids and were protecting asset but I would only not play any player until bids are already acceptable, if it’s negotiating still I would make them available
