Does Marti want Dykes to stay? He did seem grumpy at the question. He's generally looked a bit grumpy this season so far. Am not sure why exactly as think he has been "backed". Maybe he is frustrated that it isn't quite clicking yet and we are still to win in the league. I doubt he is that disappointed if Dykes goes - after all, it must be on his insistence/ request that we have brought in two other centre forwards since his arrival. Probably more that he didn't particularly welcome the question as not a huge amount he can say if a transfer is still being negotiated.

Might be club has agreed a deal but Dykes cant agree terms and doesnt want to go.

I personally think from his arrival that Marti is little bit surly and miserable. Livens up after a win but not a chirpy manager imo but no harm in that

Everyone assuming he was "unavailable" as he is about to be sold. Probably the right assumption and Marti obviously did not like being put in the position of not being able or wanting to answer the question or maybe he wants to keep Dykes in the squad But imagine in an alternative universe that Dykes declared himself unavailable if he was told he would start on the bench as third choice striker. I think Marti would be grumpy about that as well and equally would not go into reasons. We are not leaking details of pending transfers but others are - but nothing re Dykes from anyone reliable that I have seen. All a bit strange as you would think something more definite would be hitting the ITK press/boards from a buyer. Will be glad when the window closes and we all know who we have or do not have. It occurred to me that he might be having a strop about going before window closes It occurred to me that the Dykes story is an unusual one. It has not started from any other site, or clickbait, just missing on Saturday and Marti clearly unhappy. Then 2 days on and there still is nothing but guesswork. Perhaps he does not like playing second fiddle to Frey. Transfer Market has his value doen as low as £2m now from nearly double that in the past. Perhaps the only clue is that Harris keeps on that he needs another striker, has loaned out Nesbitt and they seemed very keen on the Middlesbrough local lad, Josh Coburn. Then Coburn came out and said he wanted to remain at Middlesbrough, perhaps Millwall have enquired about Dykes as a consequence. The story that we are now in for Coburn, seems to stem from one poster renown for making up rubbish. But if Dykes goes late this week, we do need a contingency, and the price will probably go up as the days tick away, when clubs know we are desperate. But we may well go for an eleventh hour loan

I like the fact that he's moody after a loss, or a draw we should have won. It shows he cares. The response to the Dykes questions was different though. Refusing to be drawn and being cagey with the Sky reporter suggested to me that he's off.

Not fortunes but seeing as a lot of fans on here voted him QPR's worst ever striker - ludicrously IMHO having seen the likes of Mark Hateley and Tony Sealy - we can hardly complain we have only got 1m for him.

The length of time he’s been here without impressing is a factor in why he’s not rated. £1m is all he’s worth - who is offering more? Telling.

We KNOW Dykes won't as he has had a quite unbelievable number of games to prove himself. In fairness he has finally hit a bit of form and he might do OK in League One. Never rated him much and he doesn't seem to improve but equally never felt the vitriol of some towards him.

Well looks like we'll get 3.5 million for Dykes and Armstrong, which I certainly didn't thing we would get.

Someone on Twitter has asked if there are add-ons😂 He shouldn’t hold his breath. More like subtractions - if he goes 20 games without scoring we deduct x, if he goes 30 games we have to deduct y from the transfer fee.

Stains, never has a crowd shown more patience towards a player who has been so consistently poor. If they give Celar such an easy ride I will be very surprised.
