Someone on Twitter has asked if there are add-ons😂 He shouldn’t hold his breath. More like subtractions - if he goes 20 games without scoring we deduct x, if he goes 30 games we have to deduct y from the transfer fee. 😂👍 |

Well looks like we'll get 3.5 million for Dykes and Armstrong, which I crtainly didn't thing we would get. Precisely - when you consider the pelters both got last season. What was their combined league goal haul last season? 10? 11? Something like that. Not the worst bit of business the club has ever done. |

Yes indeed. Celar MIGHT come good. We KNOW Dykes won't as he has had a quite unbelievable number of games to prove himself. In fairness he has finally hit a bit of form and he might do OK in League One. Never rated him much and he doesn't seem to improve but equally never felt the vitriol of some towards him. Stains, never has a crowd shown more patience towards a player who has been so consistently poor. If they give Celar such an easy ride I will be very surprised. Agree fans in the stadium have been very loyal. I could never quite bring myself to join in with the "best on earth" song. Less so on here. Wonder if fans in the stadium have grown more supportive? As realise getting on a player's back doesn't help. Seen plenty of players down the Rangers over the years where its just grown toxic for them and the crowd has been ready to pounce on them, and the player just looks terrified before he even receives the ball. |

even if dykes goes on to be a revelation at birmingham and goes on to lead them to back to back promotions i won't ever see it as a missed opportunity or a what could have been. he's been with us for 4 years now, 4 years of absolute dross with a handful of good games spruced in every now and then. just get rid, take the £1m and be very happy.

I know he isn't greast but £1m seems really low. He isn't near the end of his contract, international and is an out and out number 9.
Don't get me wrong, I know his flawes and he is a bit shit but he's more than £1m. Especially with some of the numbers that get thrown about recently.

35 goals in 155 games. That's a goal every 4.43 games. You could maybe live with that if he was a Helguson type centre forward bringing others into play, but suspect the number of assists he can claim is tiny.

Right move for the player, drop down a league, get some confidence back and will not be surprised if he gets 20 goals this season.
Surprised it has taken this long for him to go - suppose we had to wait for Celar. But truth is he would never fit Marti's style plus the crap he has had to take from certain sections of fans would have destroyed anyones confidence and desire to play for us.
Of course he has not been good - purely because at his level he has missed far too many sitters but puts them away when in a Scotland shirt. I have seen worse at the Bush so good luck to him - if he passes his medical !

He’s 29 in a month and one of the highest wage earners I reckon. So £1m is about right. Also, he’s not exactly popular so probably best for both sides he moves on

Never have I seen a worse striker at QPR given the amount of games he's had.
No football brain, no football sense, no aggression, turns up once every 8 to 10 games and is generally piss fucking poor.
I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of watching and moaning about this fucking fella.
