Right move for the player, drop down a league, get some confidence back and will not be surprised if he gets 20 goals this season. Surprised it has taken this long for him to go - suppose we had to wait for Celar. But truth is he would never fit Marti's style plus the crap he has had to take from certain sections of fans would have destroyed anyones confidence and desire to play for us. Of course he has not been good - purely because at his level he has missed far too many sitters but puts them away when in a Scotland shirt. I have seen worse at the Bush so good luck to him - if he passes his medical ! Sorry Robin no, he has NEVER been barracked by the crowd. They actually cheer his name! I don't care if we got a tanner for him just get the fucker gone. Never have I seen a worse striker at QPR given the amount of games he's had. No football brain, no football sense, no aggression, turns up once every 8 to 10 games and is generally piss fucking poor. I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of watching and moaning about this fucking fella. Just get in that fucking car and piss off to Birmingham. . It is amazing a player of his ability played so many games, so honestly can't think of anyone that ineffective over so many games. But games aside, just off top of my head I personally thought the following were worse (and there are bound to be loads of others who I have just blocked out like a bad dream): Hateley Sealy (just looked him up, actually quite a good scoring record but he was in such a good team he got about 5 sitters laid on each match) Hulse Macheda Pelecorino (spelling?) - something like 1 goal in 29 Devon White Connor Washington probably the closest example. On Wiki it says 13 goals in 92 games, so an even worse strike rate. |

I’m not one just for stats and put a large proportion of my opinions on him and others based on what I’ve watched of them. If today was transfer deadline day window shuts in an hour and you need a striker and you have to have one of the Brett Angel we had at the time or the Dykes we have current time I defy anyone to say they would choose Angel regardless of stats as he was shitter then Dykes in a rangers top. Same applies sahar, Will Keane etc they are all worse. If we are using stats as argument then Conor Washington played fair amount of games for us 98 and scored 14 goals so was 1 in 7 and someone said Dykes was 1 in4/5 so Washington statically far worse striker. |
