Asked about next term, the former Bradford and Huddersfield man replies: "It’s up in the air. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity at this fantastic club. I’ve enjoyed every second here and have fallen in love with the club. But I have that uncertainty because of my contract at Burnley. I know it will be difficult to get a chance there and if there was the opportunity to stay at QPR, I wouldn’t hesitate if the terms were correct."Full interview: www.metro.news/qprs-nahki-wells-determined-not-to-let-season-dwindle-away/1494886/[/b]

Good to hear.
Although to be slightly pedantic, I am guessing he didn't enjoy the second after missing that penalty that would have made it 4-4

And there is the rub, IF the terms are correct. What are the chances, given the current financial state of the club, that we can agree terms? I'd wager those chances are pretty small.

Good to hear people falling in love with the club. That’s what we want

Total non-starter. No way we can afford him, unless he wants to take a massive pay cut. Which clearly he doesn't, as he's made a point of saying 'if the terms are correct'.

Sell Eze buy Wells Cameron and Rangel
No brainer to avoid relegation
Like Eze but would rather have the players above secured

Perhaps another loan could be on cards to us???
Not scored as many as hoped but all round play makes up for that

Shame the lads on inflated wages.
Would have him back next season if on half the wages he was on now. Good honest pro and wish him luck in the future.

Wasn't all that impressed with him if I'm honest. 7 goals in 40, even in a struggling team, is a piss poor return.

Would not be against seeing him return. His season faltered with his Birmingham penalty miss
Don’t think he played anything like 40 games. Smith got same amount of goals for similar game time so he’s had bad season too

Fair play. Wouldn't mind seeing him back at all, won't happen though. Good luck Nakhi.

Smith got same amount of goals for similar game time so he’s had bad season too Played 40 according to his wiki page which is usually reliable for stats. Smith should never be the measuring stick for what we expect from strikers numbers wise simply because the majority of time he is used as a late sub.

I liked him as well. Rumours he was trouble off the field though so maybe that was a reason he didn't get much of a look in under Steve.

7 goals in 40....according to his wiki page 7 in 38 to be precise (as a striker), with 6 assists. Played one further game on the wing - from Transfermarkt, usually the most accurate source for stats. So scored about 1 in 5. Not a good return overall but I'd still have him back. Decent striker at this level who lost his confidence 2nd half of the season, as did many of the team. I think we've been appallingly treated by referees though as their own association's letters to the club now admits - which has had a marked impact on our league position, as well as contributing to SM's sacking - IMO.

This has him down as having played 40 (43 with cup games) - www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=58194Either way there's no point splitting hairs over a two game difference as it doesn't take away from the fact his goal (and overall goal+assist contribution) has been poor based on what we was hoping to get from him. There's gotta be far better value out there when you consider what we'd have to pay him to get him back here.
