So another plus for Wells, who has more pace than Hughill?

Never ever thought Wells was that pacy. Cant really recall him running away from people that many times. He’s not slow but if pace is the requirement, which I think it is, we should be looking elsewhere

Yes, the statistics is clear - and Andre Gray would be an experiment ...

We’d have to play a different style up front if we got Wells. Hugill would be fine with Chair and Willock supporting but Wells isn’t a target man. Would be a plan B though.

Not sure about Wells, but think he could work well with Austin.
Depends if our scouts think he could be as good with us as he was last time round, and if he was affordable.

Something I forgot to bring up on the day, but if you were singing Nakhi's name when he came on (and plenty were), you're a mug of the highest order. Singing for an opposition player, whether we like him or not, as he's coming on the pitch, is a dick move imo.

Only politely clapped him on. Nothing more.
When he scored, I threw my program onto the pitch and walked out in disgust.

Would have clapped him at the end but not coming on.
Decent player but the love in is a bit much for him. He was not even our player he was bleeding loan and after he missed last minute pen against Birmingham and hardly scored rest of season he was public enemy no1

I'm not for cheering ex players , maybe the odd one if I feel he's been a great servant and if he talks highly of us , wells doesnt come into this bracket

I gave a respectful clap when he came on as he was a brilliant servant for us but singing his name was ridiculous.

Not for me he was well over priced. He’s scored one goal this season and since being at Bristol he’s 1in 5 which is poor for a striker.
Bit of flakey player he’s either scoring flurry of goals or he’s on ominous. Think we saw best of him
If we could have got him For say 2mil then fair enough but city got fleeced

As you say, Wells and his agent saw Bristol coming in my opinion.

You love Nakhi, don't you? On 27 grand a week and a year left on his deal. Also a shadow of the player we had here a few years back. This is a signing akin to Charlie Austin last summer in my opinion.

Nahki on a season long loan would make more sense than a loan deal for Parrott to me, really can’t see the likes of Archer or Davis joining us ahead of bigger clubs being interested.

See this rumour on Twitter from few. Would have him to pad out forwards but in my personal opinion would not bring him in if he was going be main man up top
I like him but don’t get the obsession with him from our fans. Was decent loan player but he’s viewed like some folk hero

Was decent loan player but he’s viewed like some folk hero yes, this is sadly indicative of the dross we’ve had up front in recent times.
