Rhodes on a free and a reasonable wage topped up with goal bonus could be clever move but would certainly not push the boat out for him. Our terms or fox trot off
As said by poster above recent times seems to be on slide but maybe just needs right club to get hunger back. Could be similar situation to Helguson. Came in with view he’s on way down but ultimately became a success
At the right price And right deal it would be yes from me but saying that still needs manager put strategy in place which provides him opportunities as he’s not going run away from players. He plays in the box (Andy Thomson style) not out it

I would seriously try to pry Barry Bannon away from SW..they are struggling to pay players if the rumours are true..still a very influential creative M/F player.
It would also importantly cheer Shania up😂

This stinks to me. Have they only been playing Dieng in order to sell him? If so, and they think he's good, why wasn't he played before when we needed a solid keeper? How many times did we ask on this board about crosses not being dealt with? Dieng hasn't missed one. If they sell the one big step forward this season then they have no ambition for the club.

Problem for me Alan is let’s just say we get £10m for Dieng..would DOF and MW be trusted to spend any of it wisely ?
£10m could be enough to encourage somebody else to come in and sort out the team..but probably wishful thinking.

Problem for me in losing our best players recently is we only seem to get a couple of seasons to enjoy them whereas we got much longer in the past

Problem for me in losing our best players recently is we only seem to get a couple of seasons to enjoy them whereas we got much longer in the past Agree, but you have to be successful to keep players although, to be fair, it's only Furlong, Smithies and Eze I miss. Would Hall, Manning, Cousins, Luongo, Freeman or Scowen have made much difference? Not a lot of consistency there, and they're not exactly tearing it up elsewhere. Keeping Wells and Hugill would have been nice but was never happening. |

Personally can’t see him leaving. Can get outsiders will be having a look but can’t imagine anyone would sign a keeper on the back of 20+ games
