As fans it sucks, but its his job. He dont support us he a employee. And anyone with a decent agent would be doing same. The game is to earn as much as you can in a short career. As a human being it sucks as well. There are ways to behave and ways to be like that. He did it to Blackpool when joining us I believe. Yep and tbf I applaud him. He knows how to play the system. We the mugs end of day.

True enough, but by the same token that doesn't mean the club should be place him anywhere near the first team for the next 2+ months, on and off the pitch.

Why did the club think he would sign a new deal when he turned Brugges down? Fuck off and do not player the fucker until he goes in January to anywhere he likes. I don't think anyone other than Bruges came in with a proper offer for him. To me, it's looked like he's been trying to buy time throughout. I reckon his end goal is to engineer a free transfer and maximise his bargaining power for a decent wage and signingm on fee in doing so. Brugges would definotely have offered him more than we would or could so not suprised he has done this.

It’s not a question of loyalty...I would have more respect if he came out earlier and stated his intentions instead of messing around. The Charlton forward who went to Forest at least was honest and upfront with his decision.. not deceitful like BOS.

Off to Celtic or Rangers. Tucked us right up. One may come in early as to what is at stake up there this year so we may get a small fee because of that.

He tried very hard when the window was open, clearly wanted to get the move through back then. It didn't happen so think it's natural he wont sign a new contract.

Read somewhere that the pay scale at the club is quite low with performance bonuses being used to prop up wages for the players. They'll be out on the street soon!

Sit him in the stand for the rest of his contract. Have him made hot dogs for the fans who aren't there.

Strongly linked with Celtic again.
Did anyone notice who their head of recruitment and scouting is?
None other than Gary Penrice

I said Penrice was a knob on old forum and got told I was out of order. I bet he knows when every player is out of contract from his time with us so hope wise to that
Shit striker too

Not sure what to say about his situation now. Would he stay if we gave him a hefty rise in wages? Far from sure this is possible of course. Another point is that I feel Dykes and BOS don`t connect at all on the pitch.

he wont be staying. this so called "in talks" is all saving face for the club.
warburton clearly cannot drop him as he is the most dangerous player we have.
he will run down his contract and leave on a free.

I think we get compensation but I agree he is unlikely to sign a new contract.

I think we get compensation but I agree he is unlikely to sign a new contract. Yes I bellieve so too, and Warbs has also stated this in interviews. Here is an example from WLS: However, Osayi-Samuel’s age means QPR would be entitled to compensation in the absence of a transfer fee if he left the club next summer. .. ...“His situation is slightly different in terms of the compensation aspect,” Warburton explained. “He’s younger, under 23, and therefore it’s a different set of rules that apply. If we aren’t going to get a decent fee or he’s not signing a new contract, I’d be tempted to make it clear what a bad attitude he has. Would make it very difficult to settle in elsewhere, with that following him around.
