From the beeb: QPR's Bright Osayi-Samuel has been told to keep putting speculation aside with the Nigeria-born winger, 22, having been linked with Burnley, Celtic, Fulham, Leeds United and Leicester

If we aren’t going to get a decent fee or he’s not signing a new contract, I’d be tempted to make it clear what a bad attitude he has. Would make it very difficult to settle in elsewhere, with that following him around. Other clubs wont care if there no fee.

If we won’t sign but we get compo at end regardless I would flog the life out of him and run him into the ground

With references to the title of this thread, could it be that without BOS the other attacking options we have will blossom and connect? It`s just a thought..because it`s probably not easy for the rest of the squad, nor the coaches, to handle a frustrated player who really doesn`t want to be here any more?

Keep him till the end of the season to stay in the division we need him atm he's our best player
Even if he goes for nothing it's critical we stay up

Leicester being linked with a move for Ryan Christie in January. Could open the door for BOS to move up there as a replacement.

Move him on as yesterday highlighted how much he does not want to be at the club. Feeble attempt to chase back.

When BOS joined I think we paid around £750k...would like to think we at least get our initial outlay back in what would be a fire sale in January..if we get nada then surely the owners would be asking questions why again ?

Start by dropping him and moving to 352.

Start by dropping him Don't want tooving to 352. If that means Kane is out of the picture as well, I am all for it. Don't want to see him in hoops again. At least not in the backline.

I'd sell him in January. Nowhere near as good as last season as he clearly wants to move on.

It might prove to be a masterstroke. He could go there on loan...do a Les Ferdinand, and return a transformed player! And more ironically, LF himself could be the architect 🙃 #FullCircle!

Clubs looking at him now are transfixed on his free transfer tag and little else
I think he’s been here 3 seasons at least and only been a stand out player in less than half dozen games.
I personally can’t wait for him to leave.

i think BOS is a good player at this level with the potential to be a solid prem player but his attitude lets him down.
he has no respect, he did the same at blackpool as hes doing to us now. his raw ability will only get him so far.
its incredibly frustrating knowing that we're gunna miss out on a windfall from him. he needs to take a page out of eze's book

BOS needs to just fuck off now, he’s strung us along and the club lose financially. Got no problems with players wanting to move on especially if they see the club as beneath them but to suggest and indicate that you’d sign a new deal and then continue to stall is just a bit of a cunt move and speaks volumes about a players character. He’s nowhere near the player his agent has convinced him he is. Always walking round with a face like a slapped arse and definitely not a team player. Maybe his situation where he continues to get played despite the contract situation is actually doing more harm than good to the rest of the team. What message does that send out? Needs resolving ASAP. If he wants to go and warm fenabaches bench then good luck to him

he needs to take a page out of eze's book We hear this a lot, but just to be clear... Isn't the only difference with Eze that he had longer left on his contract, which is why we were able to get a good fee for him? So is the issue in Samuel's case that he has deliberately let his contract run down in order to financially gain from a signing on fee with a new club, that he wouldn't otherwise have received whilst under contract? Thereby screwing QPR over in the process, albeit inadvertently?

BOS looks completely uninterested and unfazed by playing for us.

BOS looks completely uninterested and unfazed by playing for us. I understand his body language isn't good, but has it ever been good playing for us? Chris Waddle had crap body language too. Some players just do. I wouldn't expect BOS to change at a new club in that regard. Yes, Eze continued putting in the performances for us, but isn't that simply because he's a better, more talented player than Samuel, and not necessarily that Samuel is deliberately playing beneath himself? It also has to be said that Eze's performances weren't always good. He would sometimes have distinctly average and anonymous games for us. But my question is really: Is the issue in Samuel's case that he has deliberately let his contract run down in order to financially gain from a signing on fee with a new club, that he wouldn't otherwise have received whilst under contract? Thereby screwing QPR over in the process, albeit inadvertently?

He’s all pace and too inconsistent. Same way freeman was not a prem player step too far same applies BOS

Spot on stan about body language it’s not just this season he’s come across as an arrogant moody cunt, he’s been that way from day one think that’s just his persona. Also remember in his first season him trying to sulk off pitch and Eustace grabbing him twice and pointing go clap fans.
Never been a great fan of him since that incident

Can anyone honestly say Samuel has given maximum effort in any game this season ?
I would go as far as saying that he has only given the bare minimum effort in 90% of his games..that to me is what I object to Stanley
I think it’s telling that Manning left under a cloud and Samuel is still here but playing well within himself and for that I blame MW for still picking him.
