In his pre Wycombe interview he describes a game of football for those of us who don't know what we've been watching for years as defending our goal, moving the ball forward and attacking the opposition. "It's the same rhetoric" 😂 I'd have so much more respect if he said we're not getting it right at the moment, not just doing enough, but we're working on our shortcomings. As others have pointed out Carroll plays simple Five yard passes but importantly immediately moves into space for a return pass...the only thing it’s not difficult to do but why don’t all our players do the same ?
