Remember his agent played the "he's being looked at by Chelsea" trick in the press to secure him a nice contract! On the whole, I think the contracts being handed out this summer are far smaller than those of the players that have departed. you get what you pay for, apart from the loans, i think the others are shyte pointless signings. |

I think he would have made a decent right back. Nothing exciting as a winger. Hard worker of course but no real trickery, or pace and end product is questionable.

really liked pav when he was here and one of the few players that has stood out over the past few years. think he was misused by a succession of managers as he always worked hard and had something to offer.
think he could have done well in our current team too as a wing back in a more creative team
