Small setback after 2 good away wins, Really need to get a ball playing midfielder in to replace Carroll and improve the creativity in the team. Never saw any of the game but gutted to lose after the last couple of games.

Niko and Kane offer nothing. Dykes even less. Ball loses possession within 0,2 seconds. Kelman blunders to take a shot when two yard from the goal. Bettache lightweight. That's the positives from today.

I would send Niko out on loan. Let some other club try and develop him. We’ve got 4 more years of him.

Kane would probably do if he just could improve his crosses. Now they hit the first man all too often.

I’m not saying Kane should be here long term just until end of the season. Getting 2 players in is possible. Think getting 2 full backs and midfielder is impossible.

He definitely has no idea, but then I do blame him for everything apparently.

I thought QPR deserved a point from the game. Replacing Carroll is the priority, left and right back / wing back can wait until the summer. I don’t blame the defence for the goal but midfielders wanting way too many touches and wanting far too long on the ball. Pass and Move fucking simple, not Pass, take a touch, look around, go for a stroll with the ball, allow yourself to be closed down then turn into danger and eventually lose possession when the defence has pushed up the pitch. Some of the younger players need shown the game video from today and explained it’s not good enough at this level, you don’t get the space and/or time to be holding onto the ball too long, especially when there are several easy passes on to team mates in space and especially when the defence has pushed up. Not good enough at Sunday league, definitely not good enough at championship.
Kellman, hit it 1st time or forget about it, don’t adapt you’ll not play at this level.

To be fair to them neither Chair or Willock are central midfielders, but had to operate there at times because of Carroll’s absence, but even in the attacking areas, they generally want way too much time on the ball and are slow at releasing it. It needs to change if they want to become better players, it needs to be pointed out to them. Even Bettache when he came on, wanting to take unnecessary touches, you don’t get the time at this level, and if you don’t adapt and adapt soon you’ll get replaced in the team, then eventually you’ll be going down the leagues to play your football.
