Didn't think there was anything wrong with how set up last night mate. Worked very well in the first half. Reading adapted and we had less time on the ball 2nd half, so the Manager adapted and went 3 at the back. Let's be honest, ref does his job with a couple of big decisions and we win that game by 3 or 4 goals. Wasn't anywhere near as close at the 2-1 scoreline suggested for me. They barely touched the ball in the first half. MB spoke clearly post match about our CBs playing pointless balls across our back line Tarbie, SJ performance last night encouraged our CBs to do that imo. Exactly this. We had possession on our own half and it was ineffective and boring.

Would disagree strongly that SJ has been playing predominately deep, most games he’s been running down keepers and defenders for assists and even scoring a couple himself. Fair enough mate. Last night was the first game I've been able to make in a while, so I've been limited to seeing what's been on the telly. I'll admit I've not seen all of our games in full this season. Just going on what I've been able to watch.

In my opinion, I felt much more comfortable in the first half when we were on the ball than periods of the 2nd when we were chasing the game a bit. Yeah, a few balls went sideways and across the back 4, but not every ball is gonna split defences or lead to opportunities. Decent, patient play was how I saw most of it.

Coming back to his best. Shame Amos and Dozell are atrocious replacements

Wow, that makes impressive viewing and a major reason why we are top of the league. Matt Grimes figures also incredibly impressive, unless half those passes are tippy tap round his own penalty area.

Coming back to his best. Shame Amos and Dozell are atrocious replacements Atrocious on Sat for sure, lets see if Beale can show a steelier side to his coaching/ management style and tell them they need to step up the effort, take responsibility to move us forward on the pitch and look like they deserve to be part of the team.

I’ve never thought Dozzell offers much but was surprised by Amos. Maybe Tim coming in has deflated him. Maybe he’s one of the players leaving in Jan to trim the squad. A shame. Only one game though, could star next time?

Not playing well. Though when he was out we (maybe just me) saw him as missing part that would turn our midfield around. I can’t decide whether we’re better with him in or out of the side. I think Tim and Field with Chair would probably be my choice now.

He's got another year to run on his contract, but if he can no longer play for 90 mins (which appears to be the case) then he becomes a liability. So are we not better off getting rid in the summer?

So are we not better off getting rid in the summer? who'd take him? according to a few sites he's on anywhere between 10-13k a week. he's certainly not worth that

29 appearances this season, 5 of which he's played the full game.
Not really up to par anymore, is he?

Shame because he was such a crucial player for us at times. He doesn’t strike me as type of guy who would take piss out of manager. But obviously who knows.
