It will be interesting to see if Pinkster supports the next manager or still goes on about Ollie forevermore and never gets over it like a old girlfriend that has dumped you

He must be related to Ollie no one can campaign for a person as much as that it's bizarre

There´s a really good young danish manager available in Kasper Hjulmand. Good at working with talented youngsters, letting them shine, and selling them at profit. And also good at making an average team play better than expected. So if that is our future, he could be a solution. Negatives: He didn´t do too well in his first big job in the Bundesliga at Mainz and he probably has rather limited knowledge of players from the English lower leagues, if that is our hunting ground these days.

Of course I know it will never happen, but hey this is Rangers Fantasy Island

“It’s been a privilege and honour to have managed QPR, a club with such great history and tradition in English football. I am very disappointed to be leaving at this stage of the season after everybody has worked so hard to achieve the club’s target of staying in the Championship.

After a bad start, our performances midway through the season saw us challenging for a play-off place. Unfortunately, since then, results have proved inconsistent but with eight games to go I felt very confident that staying in the league was achievable.

We worked hard to build an environment and culture to develop young players for the long-term stability of the club. However, we are in a results-based business and unfortunately both results and patience weren’t forthcoming.

My thanks to the owner and board for giving me the opportunity to manage QPR and to the staff and players, who have been a pleasure to work with.

Finally, thank you to the supporters who stayed loyal to the players throughout the ups and downs of the campaign. I wish everyone well for the remainder of the season.”

i can`t say i either like or dislike him , as long as we stay up ,i will probably have forgotten he ever managed us in a few years time

Agreed. Our promotion season under Harry Kneecap, we got off to a great start with Shteeve as coach. Went a bit to pot after he left to manage Derby. Still, we managed to beat Shteeve’s Derby at Wemberley, with 10 men for much of the game with a throughly undeserved goal on 89 minutes 40 seconds by Zamora, and a nice assist from Keogh 🤣🤣🤣

What a job to land though at his age - everything you want and a great place to retire afterwards. You have to hand it to the old fraud, massive result.
