Bowyer ideally wants to stay at Charlton but is concerned by the set up there and is only contracted until the end of the season so would gladly talk to us due to that. However he is also concerned by how we operate so at this stage it is just rumour. Heard that today from someone close to the Charlton set up. Interesting. I'd heard similar about him being concerned about the set up at QPR. But from what I'd heard, despite his concerns, he approached us and not the other way around. I hope he isn't using us to force a new contract out of Charlton.

Tarbie. He has not approached us at this point, He has wanted a new deal there for a while but their owner is more erratic that our lot. We will see how it pans out as still think Sherwood will end up here if Ferdinand can get him.

If he is who we are and have targeted as the best man for the job then do not move on but actually pursue it. If on the other hand he is just another candidate then move on and find a target that we can get.

I know fu ck all about him but i went to see Daniel Stendel's Barnsley against my local side Southend a few weeks ago. They were the closet thing i've seen to the French 1982 world cup side!. It could have been that southend are shitter than a night down the TOWIE Brentwood Sugar Hut listening to Peter Andre DJ'ing his pinky and perky R&b on a gram of crushed up rennie but they looked f ucking brilliant to me.
Barnsley Going well in division one and looking good. He's East german as well so it should go down well with LFW.

Some strong names in that list. Agree. Can you add him to the poll Hitman34 ? Don't think I'm able to. Just tried to edit the poll stan but its only giving me the option to remove the whole thing. If brighton can add moore then that would be great Checked with ProBoards Support, Hits. It's not possible for admin to add voting options to an existing poll unfortunately. Not to worry.

IMO, we should scout managers like we scout players. We need them almost as often as players. I just don`t get it!!

For me none of those are likely to be that great. If i had to go with a safe pair of hands then it'd have to be Jackett but I'd like to think we'd cast our net far and wide this time. Its so underwhelming to see the likes of Sherwood linked again. There must be so many good coaches around the world that are good with small budgets but we seem to be constantly wearing blinkers when it comes to choosing a manager. But for gods sake dont let anyone bend Tonys ear this time.

Paul Warne from Rotherham seems interested. Maybe he can take Ajeyi(The tall CB who scored against us) with him... Paul Warne is a hard working manager I can support.

Darren Moore's turn to be cut in the market as low as 6-4 from 16-1 so maybe he is meeting us. Warburton yesterday again Bowyer the day before Appleton and Warne before that.

Furs is 22/1. How about Furs with Darnell as player assistant manager? #fatherandsondreamteam
Just joking but would actually prefer it over the vast majority of the poll options.

IMO, we should scout managers like we scout players. We need them almost as often as players. I just don`t get it!! this is so true. We should really always have two or three options of our next manager in our head as we change so often. We should not just look when we require we should be surveying throughout for the next manager, just same way we do managers Shania

We’ve just crossed off the names we’ve already fired.

Said that from the start that is what should be done and if the number target is getable then get them whether they are in a job or not. If they are not then target someone else until you find the right fit. We have a very lazy approach to this side of things

Not sure it’s laziness. The people in charge are just not very good. There just seems to be a distinct lack of creative and intelligent thinking. Combined with the fact I don't think LF's network and contacts list is extensive at all, particularly outside the UK. All the rumours coming out of the club are deeply uninspiring at present. We cling to the hope that just maybe they'll pull a rabbit out of the hat and surprise us all.

All points to Fernandes no more clued up now to when he arrived nearly 8 years ago as his dof should have a idea of who would suit the club

Darren Moore favourite now. Would prefer him to Sherwood I agree Westy Bizarre sacking that by WBA. I know its a good squad there but he nearly kept them up last season after they looked doomed and they are a minimum of playoffs this season

Darren Moore would be ok i suppose in comparison to Sherwood but i've got about as enthusiasm for him as Manager as dropping Doug Mountjoy's 20 lbs oak and brass Half Butt down me Japs Eye.

Back in the good old days, we adapted the way Ajax played under Rinus Michels. Following his teams way of playing is how we eventually grew into a great club.

I saw a Channel 5 documentary the other night where blokes were paying good money for such things. Getting a dominatrix to nail their scrote was amongst the many things on the menus. Made my eyes water (the ones on my face that is)
