This morning I would have said Ainsworth, closely followed by Jackett, but I'm really starting to warm to the idea of Lee Bowyer. I need to have a think before casting my vote!  |

Think Moore is a good shout but with that squad should be in the top 2 so jury is out for me. While I like the Bowyer link would still prefer a young coach from abroad who will work with young players and get them to play with no fear.

The Dane, Casper Hjulmand. He is the one I really want us to contact. He is a great coach. God tactitian and great with young players. Rosenborg were after him.

I've Wanted Kenny Jackett here for 4 years or so and i won't be changing my mind now. Alas Under Colonel Kurtz Fernandes, we're more likely to get Colin Stagg as The Manager with Barry George and shamima begum as Coaches.
Sick to the high teeth of the decay which seems to permeate every strata of the club.
If we're not already, We're in Mortal danger of becoming a Mausoleum if we don't get this next appointment Right. I'd send Fermandes on a business trip To the sea of Fecundity while the selection process is in motion. I.E, As far away as possible where his Gerald Ratner pisshoof touch can do no harm.

The Joey/Clint option obviously can't really be taken seriously; it's not on the cards, and furthermore, IF we ever did get Joey as a manager, I fear it would become more about him than the club.
As for the other options, I don't have a clear preference. For a long time thought Ainsworth was ideal, but not any more. Jackett would be a safe pair of hands I think, so probably my pick. Bowyer too soon to tell I think, got a feeling he could self-combust at some stage.

I'd be happy enough with any one of them. Like you said, I can't take any suggestion involving Joey Barton seriously. He's an accident waiting to happen, and that's before you even consider his rather chequered history with the club. |

Totally agree with those against Barton. In my view it was him not Adel that ruined our promotion team spirit and togetherness.
As disco has said Bowyer would seem to annoy quite a few on other message boards......probably worth hiring him just to see their reaction!

Bowyer ideally wants to stay at Charlton but is concerned by the set up there and is only contracted until the end of the season so would gladly talk to us due to that. However he is also concerned by how we operate so at this stage it is just rumour. Heard that today from someone close to the Charlton set up.
