Was -5 after Cardiff game so pitch would have been like playing for school in 60s come Saturday if heating isn't up to it - which presumably it isn't 😁

That'll stop any momentum we had going into the Brentford game on Wednesday. We get a rest though I guess. Not good is it? Slip down when not playing makes pressure.

Blows my mind that a Championship club with a relatively new ground doesn't have undersoil heating. They should just give us the 3pts because they can't provide a decent playable pitch.

Forget asking why they don't have undersoil heating, why does the game have to be played at any particular ground? No fans at the moment. Play the bloody game somewhere else. If Rotherham don't like it then tell them to make more of an effort next time there is a cold snap.

If Rotherham don't like it then tell them to make more of an effort next time there is a cold snap. that’s really good point Tarbs and when teams first come back from lockdown the plan in prem I think was to use four grounds but clubs objected saying lose home advantage. I think in modern game if you lose a game due to frozen pitch you should lose the points too and it’s classed as away win. The cold has not come as a surprise mystic Wycombe predicted it week ago so they had time put measures in place but chose not too See Sheff wed off too

here's the bullshit about frozen pitches being a lame excuse. years ago i used to sometimes work at the harlequins rugby ground, only for a morning or night to help with frost sheets or snow clearance etc.
it was before the stoop's pitch was renovated so whenever there was a frost or snow we had to pull these big ass frost sheets across the pitch. if it was going to be especially cold then these giant hairdryeresque things were put under the sheets to circulate warm air.
so rotherham calling off the game on thursday is a piss poor excuse imo.

Massive dissapointment. Facing Brentford on Tuesday and losing would see us in the relegation sone. We have zero chance of getting something at Griffin Park or wherever it will be played. F..uck.

Well seeing as it’s on Wednesday and we’re at home and we’re not playing Real Madrid I think there’s every chance we can get something out of the game. It’s 11 against 11 so let’s not go waving the white flag just yet eh?

Yeah very disappointing, would’ve been good to keep the momentum going. I’m pretty sure the Brentford game is at Loftus Road. I think QPR will give Brentford a run for their money, not saying they’re going to win it, but it wouldn’t be a massive shock if they did. Brentford play tomorrow so maybe will be a little fatigued. The extra time will hopefully give Jordy and Fields time to get up to speed and make themselves available for the squad.

Brentford play tomorrow so maybe will be a little fatigued. They played midweek too, so it'll be their third game in a week. Whereas it'll be our first game in 10 days, so we need to capitalise on that.

Sheff Wed off too. Must be a Yorkshire thing. Have you not heard the saying Stan? “A Yorkshireman is a Scotsman with the generosity squeezed out of him” Clearly the tight arsed fuckers couldn’t bear to turn the heating on. I may as well say now rscot, It wasn’t me that came up with that saying 😉

A high energy, high tempo, right in their faces from the 1st second to the last kind of performance from QPR is what’s needed, see if they can live with that.

QPR are 3/1 to beat Brentford on Wednesday, don’t really bet much on the football now, but that might well be worth £20. It’s almost a 50/50 game in my eyes
