Rooney on 44k a week. Whole host of players earning 20-30k a week. Even Jordan Ibe is pulling 10 grand a week and he's only played once. Signed off with depression.

I don't think we can put it down solely to BOS departing though. Lots seemed to change in the space a few weeks. January recruitment was very good, we also seemed to change our ethos somewhat. We've played a much more sensible brand of football 2nd half of the season. |

They have taken conscious decision to put house in order and run within our means. I know it’s a good debate about what they should do going forwards but I do think they have the clubs best interests at heart. Would not want to be in Derby’s position potentially going down after a pandemic where money and transfer market will decline |

I think something significantly changed in Warburton's approach. We are taking less chances at the back. We play with a bit more focus on getting a result as opposed to playing attractive, offensively minded football at all costs. Well into double figures for clean sheets aren't we? I'd have laughed at you in the first few months of the season if you'd told me we could pull that off! |
