Dozzell is a player who makes few mistakes. Not because he's that good, but because his contribution to the game is so nonexistent.

Blues one of the sides we’re trying to catch so no way can we strengthen them with a loan. Got be cash or nothing. This is just our revenge on Birmingham for Sanderson.

If true and it allows us to bring Tim and a striker in then Nourry will have God like status with me. If his wages off the balance sheet help us get one player in that would be massive progress. Some suggestions going around that we need to off-load simply to meet FFP targets not to get any replacements in but obvs while the window isn't shut there is some hope...

Even if he is right it's not because he has any insider knowledge but because he read it elsewhere.

Other fans predicting we will sign x or y player might only be spreading gloom further down the line if we don't then sign them. All QPR fans want signings if possible and if they actually improve us. But when the CEO says there will be no signings - he didn't even qualify it by saying "no signings if we don't sell anyone" - that lends a bit of substance to what Clive and others are saying. It might be some very elaborate game of double bluff but I doubt it. Obvs I hope I wake up on Feb 1 and find we have signed a silky quarterback type midfielder who can break up play and spray a forward pass and a 20-goal-a-season striker to fire us to survival. But I'm not betting my mortgage on it. And I certainly don't think sending Dozzell out on loan frees up the budget for not just one signing but two as you were suggesting.

Whittingham views change like the wind like any fan, he often speaks with forked tongue imo. I prefer to use my eyes and ears rather than listening to the tune of the Pied Piper he’s become on LFW. He spouts shit about managers getting what managers want but fails to address that his mate Hoos as CEO has the final say however he wants to spin it. Seen him regularly coat off our youngsters progression saying that none of them will make it, yet EDB,Kolli and Armstrong look likely to succeed on their performances this season. As Hal recently pointed out his research is often poor. I still can’t get over his glowing interview and report on the job Andrew Belk is doing in recruitment, where are the examples of Belk getting it right even once. I’m sure you realise not every player in Jan window comes with a hefty loan fee and expectation on paying their full club salary.

Not digging out any fellow posters because I’ve also heard it used on MOTD but why are we introducing ‘quarterback’ into our great game? Don’t we have enough American shit invading our lives?

Same people who got angry at Graeme Souness for pulling Alex Scott up for using the pointless 'low block' term. It's not even reinventing the wheel but trying to make the game more complicated than it is and trying to sound intelligent doing so.

What a very odd move. Brum will now have Sanderson, Laird, Richards & Dozzell? No wonder they're struggling lol

That's a fair number of our bad apples, just Taylor Richards to go. Hopefully Dozzell is busy gelling his hair to look good on Insta for his signing photo as we speak. Seems much more interested in prancing about than in actually being an effective footballer.

Fact none of fan base is bothered tells you everything you need to know about how he’s done.
He out of contract end of season?

Short, terse statement from the club suggests something amiss.

Hope so.
Said it so many times, offers nothing.
Doesn’t assist, doesn’t score, doesn’t get stuck in, doesn’t play through balls for the forwards. Just seems to run around aimlessly every single time.
I’m just shocked Birmingham are seeing something we aren’t.
He’s never performed once as in controlling a game since he’s been here.
Excellent business getting him gone.

Hopefully we have one or two loans on the way now.
Marti has talked about the need to be creative this month, the board have certainly answered it it seems.
