Wonder if we signed him because we're not confident of landing Johansen - we're racking up quite a lot of midfielders...

How's that even work if we've triggered his release clause then surely they have no say in how the deal is structured beyond that.

think he'll turn out well tbh. ipswich fans seem to rate him highly and reckon he'll be a good player one day but say that he needed this move to bring the best out of him as he'd grown stale there.
this is the kind of player that we like to sign, the diamond in the rough types. happy with it and looking forward to see what he brings to the side

The club have been tracking him for a while so they must see something in him that they like / potential.
Hopefully Johansen signs and itāll be interesting to see who the club go after with regard to the right wing/back position.
Any rumours on that ?

No benefit for Fulham. If they are getting a raw deal, they are better to hold on til later in the window to see if a better offer comes in. |

Is he a deep lying playmaker like Johansen or Carroll, or does he play a little further up the pitch? in the interview he describes himself as a box-to-box midfielder but mainly played deeper at ipswich. their fans seem to think he could do better further up the pitch though. we like players who can fill in at different roles so it makes sense. although he seems a bit of a stefan replacement (by the sounds of it to me at least) |

Canāt see him being Johansenās replacement, heād have to be pretty special to be the main man in the middle of the park for QPR at 22 y/o.
