i think the club will hold out for around 10m tbh, cant see us letting him go cheaply and why should we? at least seny would be the easiest shoes to replace imo. dickie and chair would be harder to replace but there are tonnes of top keepers out there who'd be avaliable for penny's What gks are available? Shame that Bettoneli went to Chelsea, he would have been a good signing to replace Dieng. i'm a big fan of marek rodak of fulham. think he's been treated very poorly there. excellent gk imo with great reflexes and good with the ball at his feet. still only just 24 years old and would likely be avaliable for a very modest sum

On the subject of keepers, I think a few at the club rate Joe Walsh as good enough for the number 1 shirt not too long into the future. I believe the plan to send him out on loan has been shelved for now after impressing in pre-season.
If big money came in for Dieng, maybe we will roll the dice and throw him into 1st team action. It'll be interesting to see who starts in goal tonight.

As long as it isn't Archer. Going by other fans (always dangerous) then he really isn't any good.

If Seny was to be sold, I'd be happy to have Alex Smithies back, if he's not getting a game at Cardiff.

Hopefully Ramsdale deal is off... ...and we can keep Seny

Surprised that they haven't gone for Dieng instead. He would be cheaper and he's arguably better.
More surprised that they haven't gone for Johnstone, who is also cheaper.

Southampton selling centre back Vestergaard to Leicester and looking for a replacement.
Hope Chas tells Dickie what a dump Southampton is...

I just saw the Jack Wilshere interview on Talksport. He doesn't want to wait until January for a club. I think he could do well for us and I feel like he would be happy to be playing for our wage structure. Him and Johansen in the middle would boss the ball. He keeps it so well and has so much talent. Obviously, injuries are a factor but I would take him in a heartbeat.

Think however arrival of Dozzel means not an area to address

Think however arrival of Dozzel means not an area to address Tbh I probably shot you down, but seeing as he is still available and had a pre season then I think it would work out. Dozzell is pretty unproven at this level (I think) and we saw against Millwall how much we missed Johansen when he went off. Wilshire could be his like for like replacement. I guess it comes down to Wilshere, would he rather a year playing at QPR, pushing for play offs playing the style of football he likes, or hold out for a Jan move for someone offering more ... that might not happen as he hasn't been playing. He's earnt very well as a footballer and even if we offered £10k a week, that's still a good wedge.

10k a week for 20 mins max if lucky, I’d do it😜

His problem is if no one wants him now why would they want him in Jan. if I was him and offered pay as you play or short contract in championship I would take it as better to be playing and in teams eyes then sat on your arse

Wilshere is damaged goods and a waste of a wage. If he could keep injury free he'd still be a top prem player but he just can't. We thought Kieron Dyer would be a good signing, and he was for the 15mins he played for us. This would be no different.

WLS reporting that Leeds, Wolves and Newcastle are 'eyeing' Rob Dickie... They can eye him up as much as they want, the club have been pretty clear that unless they are coming with a big offer, Dickie (or anyone else for that matter) will be staying put.

I wonder what the club feels an acceptable offer for Dickie?
He cost us £2m, so £8m would be a huge return on investment in cold financial terms.
I imagine fans would want to see something closer to £20m.
Personally, I just hope he stays and we give this season a bloody good try - frankly, whoever we get in to replace him won't be as good.

I feel he will be done for pace in the championship? No sure though, hence the question mark.

What we paid for him doesn't really come into the equation, based on a) what he's achieved since he first joined us, and b) the length of his current contract. And as for the fans' valuation, that's not really relevant either.

Could be his positional sense will make up lack of pace, but I feel he would benefit from at least this season in our team.
