in all seriousness, yes this is a tough result to take and a bullshit one at that bit we have lost some key players through injury along with having others not on song. mccallum, stefan and de wijs all missed/went off whilst willock was anonymous. individual errors are horrible to witness but i'd rather lose because of those than because we were shit. we should have won or got a draw at bournemouth and bristol and perhaps should have won tonight but it is what it is. if we didn't make the errors in recent games then we'd have at least 3 points from them. is what it is but i have faith that we'll push into the playoffs either way, theres gunna be games were we deserve to lose but still grind out the win so it'll work out in the long run. Thanks corbs. I´m still pissed off though.

Not sure what to think of Moses Adebajo. I desperatly want him to succed because I love the way he is trying to go forward and finish, but I feel the first goal was his fault even though Stefan or Dickie I think it was should covered him.

Willock was quiet but I still wouldn't have taken him off for Dykes. Very risky sub that. If anything swap him for Chair. But playing two strikers at that stage I'm not sure was the best tactic and unfortunately we paid the price.

Agree mate. Think playoffs could be a long shot but it’s a shot all the same. Still hurts tonight corbs but not as much as the Bristol city match. My venting is aimed at that prick referee. Wanted to throw my laptop at the wall because of that bellend.

1 point from 12. When we’ve been on runs like this, I don’t tend to look at league table until we win next!

We looked jaded.
3 games in a week has taken its toll on the players.
They all need a few days off to recharge.

I also think they had better options on the bench to help them win the game than we had to help us defend our lead. Can't legislate for the individual errors though. So frustrating.

We had so many chances to hit them on the counter, but nearly every forward pass from Chair or Stefan was overhit. Will never understand why he puts Osman on for Gizmo. Uncle should have been on, because we needed another experienced head to help the young lads with game management.

Had Chair crossed it for Dykes instead of going for glory from a difficult angle could of been so different. Think Chair has had his head turned and has his own agenda at times

Unfortunately our next game's on Tuesday They're coming thick and fast. Partly why I'm not bothered about playing first team players in the League Cup. Beating Everton is great but now Sunderland to me just looks like an extra game we could've done without.

Unfortunately our next game's on Tuesday Could still give them weekend off. Light training on monday, and go again. Except for Chair. He has to come in and watch this game on replay 6 times each day.

Not sure I see 1 goal winning this one. Matter of time. They are pressing us relentlessly and I think their pressure will tell. Best post tonight unfortunatly.

Dieng has been good this season and kept us in games, so can be forgiven the odd clanger. But Warbs has to take some responsibility tonight too IMO.

Couldn't believe chair got caught when will he learn , play the way you're facing . Tactics all wrong how does kakay get in team he doesn't know how to mark or where to " be" .we sat back all night and got what we deserved . Players shouldn't be tired supposed to be athletes .

League Cup could be highlight of our season. 1 in 12 isn’t top 6. You'd have to say on reflection having lost a game from a winning position in the last 7 minutes that the League Cup was probably a factor. We looked knackered by the end, and they didn't. Hence I'm not in the "always play your best side" camp when it comes to cup games. Yeah, Tuesday was awesome and it would be great to make the quarters of the Carabao Cup. But come the end of the season if we miss out on the play offs by 3 points, nobody will be saying "ah well, at least we beat Everton in the cup".

Moses positioning for their first.... I agree mate. Many won't. He looks a good player 90% of the time but let's himself down with poor decision making and a lack of positional awareness a bit too often for my liking. Right side of defence is a problem and we'll leak goals until we address it in my opinion. Right back needed in January.

When defending as a RWB stay on the right side of the box. Tuck in. When defending an attacking wide player show the player outside or, if the CB is near and covering, inside. If upfield get back to provide cover behind the CB who has covered for your absence. Being a Full Back 101.

Beaten by a far better side tonight. We are organised and committed but don't have the consistent quality throughout the team. We are competitive and show potential. 6th place would be an achievement for this side. 10th is where I think we'll end up.
