Get a bit fed up with Rangers fans having a go at players after one or two less than perfect matches - no-one can have a perfect game every time.
Look at de Bruyne at City - lacking form at the moment, but not class.

We need a leader in midfield someone who can motivate the team - A proper captain
Solid Tackler / Motivator / Hard Case.
End Of Story

We have great attack
Defence Needs Works
Midfield - Clubs just run straight through our midfield
Hopefully Field can plug this bit hole a bit.

We need a leader in midfield someone who can motivate the team - A proper captain ie basically holding without slowing down our ball. re skipper agree. I take the Rugby approach to captaincy. You want someone who you'd want beside you at Rourke's Drift, not down fucking Bar Italia.

Get a bit fed up with Rangers fans having a go at players after one or two less than perfect matches Do you mean on here or on the internet generally? If the criticism is constructive, on the contrary, I see that as a positive. Indeed that's part of the point of a discussion forum!

Could be anywhere really, where comments are simply along the lines of, 'he's crap', 'utter garbage', 'get rid', where a player has been doing well for us and then has 2 or 3 poorer games (Seny comes to mind recently). Constructive criticism is fine, mindless outbursts say more about the author than anything else...

Does anyone else think that from now on with our squad, we should improve? Up to now, it’s been pretty much weekend and midweek games every week. With our small squad and with injuries we’ve had it’s been tough. If you look forward, it’s much more weekend games only (except Christmas, Easter period) with odd exception. I’m actually bit more optimistic looking at how games pan out.

Willock recently proved in Chairs absence he can still be amongst the Championship top performers in creating chances and is undoubtedly the main fulcrum of our attacking prowess.
Chair is also a very good Championship performer imo ,but i would question wether the need for both players to be occupying the same side of the pitch so often when Willock hasn’t seemingly missed Chair.
Is it possible for one of them to be designated to play more on the right to provide better balance and cover to whoever plays RWB ? It may also provide an alternative “out ball” for the defenders/Johansen to find.
I get the point that both along with Wallace provide an overload down the left but I would question wether this tactic has made us predictable to switched on opposing managers.

I would question whether or not they should both be in the same team every game. There are times when the best 11 players don’t make the best team. We had this with the three amigos under Holloway. On the odd occasion when one was out the midfield looked better. Difficult one, glad I’m not selecting. I think the problem is Chair not being as good as we like to think.
