If Palace are the only club that really want him and Eze wants a move to them, what can our club do ?? Just let him go for "peanuts"? I don't think they are the only PL club that want him, which is why we rejected the 2nd offer, to hopefully start a bidding war and push his price up. |

The fact that none of the top six will take a punt on a British player as talented as Eze shows what utter cunts they are. They are a cancer on British football. You honestly think Eze is good enough for the top 6? Might cut it as an impact sub somewhere like Spurs, but he's not good enough to start for a top Prem side in my opinion. Certainly not yet anyway.
The problem with Eze isn't so much his age as a lack of consistency. Either way Palace is a piss poor move for him.
There was some talk a while back Arsenal had been sniffing around, they would have been a way better fit for playing to his strengths.
BOS is even less top six material. He definitely needs more time.

I don't think Palace is a bad move for Eze at all. A bad move would be going somewhere where he can't get into the first team and he ends up playing reserve football with the occasional cameo. He's at a stage of his development where regular game time will be the difference between him reaching his potential and being a hard luck story.

The sun journo is saying 16 million spread over 5 years along with 3.5 mil in clauses.
If that is true then whoever negotiated that needs sacking.

The 16mil needs to be paid up front ffs Why is spreading payment across 5 years a problem? An extra 3.2m quid a year revenue for the next 5 seasons sounds OK to me. |

We need a minimum of 4 players in this window alone.

Fact is, this revenue is going to be used to help keep the club solvent in the coning seasons, so it makes close to no difference if it's paid back in installments. |

Just check back through our annual accounts. We've only just finished paying off agents fees and installments from when Hughes and Harry were here.
