So what’s the amount we get on 60m. What’s the calculation ?
Is it 60m less 20m, then x 20%?

Best player in his position in the premier league bar de bruyne, imo. Looks so much better though, and the calmness and gliding movement with ball at feet is second to none in the world. What a gem of a player, and lovely attitude to boot. Good luck Ebs, whatever happens.

I'm sure he's such a good bloke, that he won't take the minutest bit of pleasure signing for the arch-rival of the club who rejected him as a youth player...

Eze strongly rumoured to be in the 26-man England squad. Will be great to see him in action for Inger-land - andit's got to add to his value 26 player England squad as follows: Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale. Defenders: Lewis Dunk, Joe Gomez, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker. Midfielders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Gallagher, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice, Adam Wharton. Forwards: Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins.

That is a truly formidable squad. Let's hope Southgate picks the best 11 to finish the job.

It means they would have to pay 20% again on their original transfer fee. But we are all guessing...

Yes but if they are selling for say £80m they are doing very nicely given his cost of the original say £18m (assuming some extras have now been achieved) plus the 20% of £16m. £46m profit not too shabby for them.

If he is sold and we get money very much doubt we will get it upfront as assume whoever buys him will not be giving Palace 60mil in one chunk.

IF Place sell Eze and IF we get £10-£12m, it would be great - but will it be season-changing?
It's about enough dosh to run the club for around 5 or 6 months - would shareholders want a bit of their subsidies back?
Or would we buy 2 or 3 decent players and push on for a play-off place?
Or woukd it be some kind of watered-down compromise?

Sounds like Olisse is off Bayern which probably means we don’t get our pot of gold for Eze.

if as reported he has a 60m release clause it’s not related to any other transfer. But his cameo for England reminded me of how he could frustrate as well as delight. Will he get another chance in the Euros to show what he can do?

Doubt it after that abject cameo.
I feel sorry for him and for us. Southgate through him on with no chance to do anything meaningful other than lose the ball a couple of times.
Pre-Euros we had high hopes that Dykes would score for Scotland and get poached by some poor unsuspecting team, and Eze would shine, leading to a £60M+ transfer. Our hopes, as so often with QPR, have been dashed!
