The way things are going it's going to be hard to top "Eze's too good for you". He is genuinely starting to look the real deal.

hes been brilliant under warburton so far and is doing all the stuff we knew he was capable of, and more. last season we saw glimpses of his quality but far too often he went absent, lost the ball too easily or passed it backwards. love what hes doing this season. the 10-15m figure in the current market and our current financial situation doesn't seem out of reach imo. my guesses are that we are well on course to easily passing the FFP given the exodus of players and sales in the summer At the start of next season we drop a £21m overspend for the 2017-18 season against our rolling £39m for FFP assessment. We'll have to wait until the figures are lodged but I believe that we will only be £10-12m in the hole when that goes. Obviously what happens with this seasons stars will have a bearing on how we line up next season but hopefully, if the players like Eze, Chair, BOS, Manning, Lumley etc. see that they have the support of the fans as well as the support of the club it might be a lot easier to persuade them to stay and see the job done (promotion to the EPL) over a few seasons. We could all see how much Darnell still loves the club after his end of game walk around those QPR fans who stayed at the end of the WBA game, hopefully we can get these other young players to feel the same.

I had a five minute chat with Eze after the game and without being belligerent about it I asked him if he would like to stay at Rangers for a bit longer to learn and improve his skill set, I also mentioned that he is playing regularly and looks like he is really enjoying himself, along with the rest of the side and he agreed. I got the impression that he is in no rush to leave the R's (I appreciate he may not have a choice if the club receive a ridiculous offer). I then asked would he sign a 10 year contract with a massive buy out clause to help the club out. He gave a massive grin grin and said "Sure, sure, of course you'd want me to do that, you are a QPR fan". I also asked when he was going to stop being a lazy arrogant player who thinks he's too good for the club... Nah I didn't do that. I know Manning got the MOTM today but I thought Ebere dominated and controlled the game at his own pace today. From memory, he only gave the ball away twice today and they were both in the first half and of little consequence; I love watching him play and that back heel right at the end was sublime.

Eze price tag...
The fella is top notch and there is no point kidding ourselves that he’s going be here after the summer. Now I would love to hold on to him but realistically it’s not going happen so we must ensure we get every single penny he’s worth
So as a fan base and club we should be planting the seed, everytime he’s spoken about, that he is a 20mil+ player so the market and clubs interested are in no doubt of what the initial asking price is.
There should be strategy here if players are interviewed and asked about him that they say he easily worth 20mil, if Warburton Is asked about his performance ,like yesterday, then he should say what else would you expect from 20mil player and as fans if we’re chatting about him on social media he’s 20mil player and probably worth more
When he goes, he cant go cheap or for a fair price, we sell him at top end prices. Seriously think club need make clear price now so people know the ball park

Agreed. I think with previous sales we’ve had to take what we can get but the clubs in a great position now. No more messing about with silly fees. The boy will deserve his chance and we will deserve our gold. Assuming of course we don’t go up. If we do then we try and hang on

If we didn't get £10m for him I'd be disgusted.
Worth more? Probably
Will we get a good deal? Probably not.
I guess it will mainly depend on how long his contract is etc.

can't see us selling him for anything less than 15m+ sell on fee in the current market and our strong FFP standing. we had to sell smithies and others fairly cheaply to pass FFP but after the summer where we brought in what ... 12m? or so in transfers whilst only spending 50k + signing on fees we're most certainly on course to easily pass FFP. we must be around 4-5m in the green as we were bidding 3.5m for mckenna from aberdeen and have been linked with aaron hickey for 1.5m from hearts.
eze has been sensational this season and imo is taking us to the next level. he'll be a good prem player one day for sure and even possibly an england international and as much as i'd love it to be with us we'd be silly to not cash in in the summer when we could sign some real quality players and make a proper push for the prem

I spoke with Eze after the Blackburn game and snippets were that he is loving playing regularly in this side, he is enjoying learning to improve his skills and he is in no hurry to leave this season as he feels there is a lot more to learn and QPR are the club where it is going to happen. If we get a silly James Madison sized offer the club would have to take it seriously and it may not be down to Ebere what happens but I got the very distinct impression from him that he isn't in a hurry to cash in on his good season. Imagine what he would be worth if we tie him to a contract until he is 25-26, along with our other rising stars?

Can we compare him to James Maddison who was roughly same age when he went from Championship Norwich to Leicester and an England u21 at the time? 25m euro (July 2018) he cost according to transfermarkt

By next summer yes, if he continues at this rate...and Warbs stressed yesterday that, considering his age, he still has much to improve about his game. The OP's £20m is only what he's worth to us NOW.
