Seen a few people moaning about Warbs on various platforms today. We certainly haven't been at our best since the turn of the year imo, today we weren't good at all. But as he says the mark of a good team is grinding out results despite poor performances. I don't get the moaning and whining about Warbs. Is he a top class manager? Probably not, or he'd be in the Prem. But the fact remains that since he came in we have improved season on season under a strict budget. You can moan about his tactics and put any negative spin on it you want but that is a fact that cannot be argued with, whether you like the guy or not. His tenure has been a success so far. I was very vocal and wanted him gone before christmas 2020 but I have to say he has done very very well since then and think a lot of credit card needs to be given to him and his staff. Don't know if the above link will work from Twitter but if not I will summarise and anyone who moans about Warbs should think about this first: squad costs
Fulham: £162m Bournemouth: £111m WBA: £70m QPR: 9.5m Incredible we are even competing if those figures are true. |

back home now ,another great away game with Doc and the Northfeilds /Ealing boys !
Got to say we wouldd have been made up with a point , Coventry were all over us for most of the game ,,,,
Where has this huge away support come from ? Loads of Youth .... in their CP SI !
Either way i`ll take that ...3 points back to the Bush ..!!!

Was a tough game and a tough watch from the away end. Seeing plaudits fir the defence reading thread but I thought they let Coventry in to often very easily and had it not been for Marshall we would have gone in behind Can imagine their fans left very pissed off as they did look a decent enough side. Perhaps draw would have been fair but buzzing we nicked it Ref let them get away with murder dragging Willock down he never seemed to want to book them for it. Dykes is so poor it’s painful watching him. Must say very impressed with Marshall and I don’t think Dieng walks back into the team That pitch was fucking huge and think we struggled positionally throughout the game as your covering such huge areas the players are not used too Superb atmosphere both sides and great to see a new stadium which holds the atmosphere. Todd Kane still cant cross he’s not missed Thought I’d be an anorak and look up the size of that pitch which did look enormous - 120m x 68m. Ours is 102 x 66. That’s a lot of extra grass to cover. |

Likewise, but I would like to ask him what he sees in Dykes and why we persist in playing out through Dickie when opponents shut him down so easily? Because we don`t have other options so far this season and in spells earlier this season he scored for fun. It could also be that he is off shortly and lacks motivation... Who knows? |

That’s the point Stan, when he’s not involved he’s woeful. Every striker has a bad patch but they work hard for the team and wait for a break. Running around aimlessly without ever putting a CB under pressure isn’t work rate in my book. He appears to have no idea how to play his role. (and he wears gloves!😂) |
