Maybe les asks for more and get’s told no. And if u in a job u not going to resign on principle if u got bill’s to pay whoever u are. Or maybe not. We only speculate that les is the problem, but it “ could” be the board. And les is the fall guy It is the board because that's where the buck stops and all employees are accountable to them, Les, Lee and Ramsey included.

What ever u think les has got thick skin. He gets hammered and board his employer relatively Scott free. IMO if something not working u don’t go after the Indians u go to the top the chief. Buck stops at top.

Also , les has a actual connection with the club, the board don’t. So les I feel as well as playing the game probably at odds with board a lot over what we need. They being no affinity cold business types do their thing. Bet les climbs the walls.

Then it is their job to explain to the board that unless we replace Dykes or improve the forward that eventually relegation will happen. Anyone remember the 90's when we sold and sold players and eventually Ferdinand was sold and the rest is history. If Rangers want a deal for Dykes which they do then do it as while he is still with us we will never bring anyone else in.

If I was pumping a million in I would be asking the football people why is that tatooed donkey still robbing a wage from me.

Why continue to lose 12m a year? The owners certainly don't love the club.

So the questions are, Are we as skint as we are led to believe and if we are what is their plan to improve or change it for the better.

What makes me laugh is this FFP stuff.
We've spent £0, got some loans in and that's it. How do Luton and the likes cope?
We're just run shabbily.

So who else do you think is paying the bills - Father Christmas? C'mon, I know I am not the smartest but even I know he only brings presents and not paying bills. Normally, the presents are in the form of easy goals for the other team. My point is, we get x million per yet tv rights, x million from the efl, x million from sponsors, x million from ST, x million from gate receipts. Our wages are tiny. We don't buy players for any great sum. So if we get all of that money, where does this other 12m come from and where does it go? If we are a well run club like we are being told we are, how on earth are we 12m down before anything happens? We pay 2.5m in fines but we were told the owners are paying that and not the club.

Our wages tiny? Really? Even Championship clubs pay mega wages compared to typical salaries outside football.
Obvs the published accounts lag a year or two behind where we are now but they are there for everyone to view and clearly show costs being substantially higher than income, with wages creeping back up after successful attempts to slash them in the post Prem era. There have been numerous threads on various message boards - including one from memory started by a fan who happens to be an accountant who went into all this in detail.
Most football clubs run at a substantial loss and given that we have lower gate receipts than many and - Eze aside - we haven't managed to sell anyone significant, we are more loss making than many.
Am as depressed as any fan at the state of our club but any fan who thinks the board are quietly squirrelling away fortunes made from QPR are wide of the mark to put it mildly.
The board might be incompetent - that's a different issue - but don't think they are tight.

So what is their agenda then. Not sure they have one anymore TBH, that is the problem. They bought a Premier League club (newly promoted, ill equipped, lacking infrastructure), blew an absolute fortune and returned it to its more natural level, a mid-level Championship club. Either they don't have enough money or they are too worried about FFP to spend more. If they have any kind of agenda left it is to get us out of the financial shit by developing players and selling them on but that has also failed so far, and with the departure of wart-face, is going to be even more difficult. Critchley is an extension of that agenda - probably a better coach than manager and is here to develop players to sell. Maybe long term they hope we can sell enough players like Brentford did to then in turn buy some decent players in the lower leagues and get promoted that way. But clearly we are years off that.

We don't have anyone on more than £20k. I don't think we even have anyone on more than £15k (I wish I earned as well as this but there we go). I understand most clubs lose money, and I don't doubt that we are. But £12m a year loss? How? The narrative is we are well run but if we are losing £12m a year minimum then something isn't stacking up. I am not anti the owners or anything either I just want to understand how we are losing the money. I defo do not think that they are taking money out of the club.

If I quoted you the figures now mate I would be making it up as it is months ago I read about it - think it could have been on Clive's site - but if we had 20 players on even just 10k a week that's over 10m a year before you even consider other staff, loan fees, paying off players like Bonne etc. Football clubs leak money worse than utility companies leak water. Plus think the likes of Austin, Stef and Gray last season substantially increased the wage bill. But as I say this is all spelt out in the accounts for any fan who is interested/ sceptical - and these have to be independently audited

If the figures are in actual fact that bleak how come not one board member has dug the D.O.F and recruitment guys in over yet another transfer pay off/loss? Surely any business spunking the sort of money we are would ask serious questions as to why it has happened yet again.

I was amazed Les was offered the job in the first place. Zilch experience in a key role. Cue Uncle. It was a PR stunt from day one. Fernandes was getting pelters over the disastrous Beard appointment and so brought in the shield of a QPR legend, with zilch experience as you say, but just happened to have some coaching badges. By his own admission Les said he's had to learn on the job. Only at QPR eh? Or I should say the Fernandes' legacy.

Bill, nothing will change while we have a DOF system - whoever manages/coaches the team if nothing else changes it’s just press repeat button time after time. Small club like ours needs a manager. A manager who brings in his own team and is therefore fully accountable - unlike our DOF. All very well bringing in a Guardiola or a Mourinho etc. to work within an established framework under a DOF because these clubs spend millions on players. If we expect a coach to work within a strict budget he should be the manager. As I've said, this is what I don't understand: Why is the DOF not accountable? Especially after eight long years in the role. Or maybe he is accountable and the board actually believe he's done a good job in that time? Or has done enough to persist with?...

And even then it was questionable as it originated from the mouth of spinmeister extraordinaire, Hoos, at a fans forum. Just cos something is oft repeated, doesn't always make it true.
