Mick McCarthy, Tim Sherwood, Ian Holloway, John Eustace...
Who else would you rule out, if it was up to you?

He did think that’s when we bought John spencer from Chelsea and the stoke div 1 top scorer that era Mike Sheron. Record signing at the time but turned out a big flop. John Spencer was great though. Paul Wright was ok too.

Was trying to think who bruce Ricohs partner was They were joint managers if you remember stan That's actually not the case Gen. Houston was manager and Rioch was his assistant. I remember being extremely underwhelmed and baffled by this appointment at the time, as Houston had been Rioch's assistant at Arsenal. Do you remember the relief when they were sacked and we sang "we're not Arsenal anymore"? Hollins came in as caretaker, and... well, you know the rest.... a shed load of uninspiring managers came and went, starting with the dire Ray Harford - Olly was the exception, until Magilton and De Canio, who were the stand-outs IMO until Colin arrived and took us back to the promised land.
