Stats like that do make you half wonder if we could pull off a push for the play offs. Don’t want to add to expectations/ pressure and don’t think we would in any case have enough for promotion. But certainly encouraging.

After 14 games this season we had 8 points…..thanks Gareth After 14 games last season we had 24 points.
This season we get 56 points, last season only 50!

1.5 ppg that's solid upper midtable form produced by Marti. I'd be happy if he can do that again next season, perhaps flirting maybe even reaching playoffs. But 1.5 ppg would be a good baseline.

The other encouraging thing about that is we further improved from (roughly) late Jan, so definite momentum.

That is quite depressing. Basically over the last decade we have been saying “Oh FFS!” 121 times more than we have been jumping about happy. No wonder my wife says I should give up QPR because it just makes me miserable. How many of Cricketer’s Saturdays Ruined does that equate to?

Also.... I fucking love Marti definitely, that front 3 has so much quality in it and once they bed in and build some cohesion ... wow ... the hard work and ball control of saito, chair's known quality and the je ne sais quoi of dembele with an inform up to speed battering ram that is frey in front of them will be something terrifying for any team in the league. been a long time since we've had a front 4 with as much promise and entertainment as we have now. think the last one we had was when it was eze, chair, BOS and wells/hugill.

This is quite a turnaround and impressive. Without re-opening the whole Dykes debate, under Gareth I thought the striker was almost an irrelevance. We could have had Haaland up top and he wouldn't have got many goals because we couldn't even mount an attack. Then under Marti last season we were certainly creating more than before, but still the chances were fairly rare. Creating the chances we are now we are likely to score a decent number. With Dembele, Chair, Saito, Andersen etc that's a lot of dangerous players to mark, so you would think it will open up space. I am actually more concerned about us defensively this season than in attack.

Without re-opening the whole Dykes debate... No, let's reopen it. It's only been a couple of days, and any excuse to do so

Still not kept a clean sheet or failed to score this season. Confirms my point that our defensive achievements have gone backwards this season
