A striker would have been nice. Hope we are not lamenting this at the end of the season. That said the loan window is open for another 2 weeks so fingers crossed. I’m under the impression that the loan window is now closed ? |

The fact that we're all desperately eyeing up the free agent list for someone who can stick it in the back of the net on a regular basis says it all.
Yes, we could set up on a false 9 basis but if any quality gets injured we dont have the back up to play that system. Therefore we still need a striker.
It's incredible to me that this saga has been going on for months.
