No, he would probably fit well in the championship. It just looks like they are trying to get some interest, and as we all know, they can probably find other clubs with deeper pockets. |

I could see us being forced to spend a few quid on a centre forward but in consequence we will have to sell some players and most other signings will have to be free/ bargain basement.

Be great to see an updated list of freebies.
No problem if the club go down that route if the players who are free are better than we have. Not all about blowing budget on one player.
Pretty sure we are all agreed that if we go 5 at the back (or even 4) that we need at least 1 new LB and 1 RB. Moses is good but injured. McCallum is good but on loan.
Plus we need more pace in the middle and up top (Gray has pace but doesn't play). Only have Willock that can beat a man. A few areas that need sorting out really. If we are going to play 4 at the back then we need wingers (strange really, a couple of years ago all we had were bloody wingers!)

Actually we have the makings of a decent 4-3-3 given the current squad, but for that you really need those fast transitions and Warbs is like no can do. And the level of fitness needs to be above where he has them. re transfers, an awful lot is going to come down whether the board stick or twist with him. |

Scott Twine takes a great set piece and would be a good addition but I would have to question why didn’t we sign him last season when he left Swindon on a free, we were heavily linked last season.
I’m hoping it was the MK Dons manager Les was meeting with.
