Are we really going to sign anyone with no manager? I think this is pretty normal for us isn't it? DoF/Scouts and Manager both bringing ideas to the table in terms of signings. Given we don't have a Manager at present and we have gaping holes in the squad, it's probably a given the DoF and the Scouts will continue to work their own pipeline. |

It would say that DOF has more power and new manager is just a coach. |

What is the other option? The Scouts sit and twiddle their thumbs until a new Manager is announced? I'm assuming the scouting process continues as normal and a call is made when someone is ready to sign on the dotted line as to whether the club are convinced enough of the players worth to roll the dice on them regardless if a Manager is identified or not. Probably less risky than sitting and waiting, then inevitably doing our business late in the window. |

Cahill released by Bournemouth. Would you want to sign him? Do you think the club will sign him? He's only plated about half of Bournemouth's games this season. At 36, I'd probably leave him alone to be honest, as good a player as he is. That said, I've have never signed Angel Rangel for exactly the same reasons and he turned out a great signing. |

If we had to put out a team tomorrow I would be reasonably confident most positions could be filled other than at LWB, it’s odd that no rumours have surfaced considering we need 2 minimum.

Even for players we are linked with. If we are fighting L1 teams for a player then he probably isn't that great. If others in the league are going for him, then he's probably half decent. |

Looking at the Fulham forum earlier they suggested Seri is on £60k ,Hector and Mawson were on £30k and Christie £20k per week so probably way out of our salary band.
I looked up some of their youngsters that are being released and Timmy Abrahams striker and Jerome Opoku CB appear to be worth a trial at least.
