In his first job Eustace used to say that plan B is to execute plan A better...Sorry, but that`s not music in my ears..  Yeah, gotta admit that type of comment doesn't fill me with much confidence. |

Thanks Stan. Sparks - I don't understand the argument. Of course a Manager is going to converse with his Assistant. Wouldn't be a very effective team if they didn't, would they? Last point from me on this subject. I understand that MW could not see we did not have a player in midfield that could try to tackle a Sheff Utd player the other night but I’m flabbergasted that any of his assistants could not not see what was so fecking obvious. The Manager isn't in any way obligated to follow the advice of his Assistant or his Coaches mate. It is quite possible to listen to peoples advice but in the end decide to take a different route. I do it at work all of the time. The fact is neither you or I know what influence Eustace has had on MW's decision making. |

You can try influencing but I guess manager rules |

Re Farke on MotD they were going thru Norwich signings since last summer, all made by Farke. Spend 49m and the panels view was he had farked it up as not one of the 8/10 players he signed had been a success - and those pundits are normally more flattering than waitress in a titty bar

But I no longer put threads in wrong place just to trigger it off on purpose 😀 It just improves the navigation of the site to keep posts under their assigned topics. Plus it helps the search function. Plenty of people read the site, not just members, so we have to consider that. I'm responsible for seeing the bigger picture, unlike you. So be grateful  |

We worked on the SEO by adding QPR, Queens Park Rangers, Forum etc into headings and topics. It takes a while but it's greatly improved our Google ranking. Previously we weren't even on page 1. Now we're 3rd highest when you search for QPR forum. So going from strength to strength with more traffic and members. If we exploited social media more it would be even busier but Brights and I aren't really into that. |

Like I've been saying, what is required is a Manager who knows how to build an effective squad on a limited budget (MW was good at this), and is tactically astute enough to adapt to the various challenges you will face over the 46 league games in the Championship (MW was not good at this). |
