No idea what the budgets will be in Jan but Bergovic must be on big wages for a club like us. If Marti insists on playing out from the back then we need a keeper who is good with his feet. How often are we penned into our own penalty area because we are so uncomfortable passing it out? If Marti had Seny I think we would have looked like a different team against Rotherham.

Looking at the replay, I think he should have got a hand to it, but if you look at the defender who is shutting Willock down, I think that may have thrown him off.
Either way, I think he’s a very good keeper. And definitely going to be more affordable than a lot of others if Rotherham go down.

i'm a big fan of viktor johansen of rotherham and imo we should try to bring him in after rotherham are relegated. he would fit seemlessly into this side, is one of the best keepers in the league and only 25. Was just thinking this - he's one 3 of the last Rotherham MotM awards. Would be right at home with fellow Scandinavian Andersen in the side and Mart's Scandi links... |

Didn't think he was all that personally - arguably could have done better with both goals and none of the saves he pulled off were that amazing.

Could only play with his right foot and if we had people in the six yard box finishing off the parry’s we would have scored three more. He’s not a bad keeper but there are way better out there on that showing if we’re looking to replace Asmir. |

Easy to imagine, Stains. Only got to look at the difference Frey makes - and we might be able to attract better than him. Useless Wanker wanders about flat footed watching CBs with the ball and Frey competes from the front. Frey, no world beater, makes runs in the box and we look dangerous. Useless Wanker never on the move, never in the right place. Decent striker transforms a side. macauley langstaff would still be top of my list tbh. 23 goals in 37 games for a midtable notts county team. likely has a gentleman's agreement that he can leave notts county in the event they don't get promoted as he had clubs circling last summer after scoring 42 goals in the NL. wouldn't cost much either and personally i see him as one of those rare goalscorer types who will score goals no matter the league they're playing in. having the likes of sincs, frey and langstaff as our options up top is a very tasty prospect for me tbh. all offer something different as a striker and imo we wouldn't be in this position next season with those 3 as our strike force. sell dykes, cut off the other bits of dead wood, dish out some new contracts and pray that palace sell eze and we could be in a great position next year. Can’t believe no one’s taken a punt on him. Outrageous goal scoring record. Can only assume scouts have watched him and for whatever reason don’t fancy him. Never seen him play personally but there’s no way on this planet many big standard championship strikers would get anywhere near that number of goals in league 2 |
