Need some characters Think we have seen when it gets tough not really got the type of players to bite down and fight through To an extent mate. Although the likes of Jimmy Dunne and Barbet (although he's likely offski) should be good enough leaders on the pitch. I still think you've got to take a look at the culture in the dressing room as much as the personnel. Manager was too soft and not enough accountability when things were not going well. Need a Manager that drives a winning mentality and hates loosing. Modern day Warnock is what's required.

Need a Manager that drives a winning mentality and hates loosing. Let's not over-think it Tarbs. I think it's more basic than that. Football is fundamentally a simple game. We need a manager that knows how to pick the best players in the right farking team Had Warbs done that he'd still be in a job!

At the moment we don't even have a manager, then I am guessing first priority will be to assess who we try to keep who is out of contract (and hasn't already buggered off), only then will we be able to look at signing fresh players. And as we don't have a pot to piss in am guessing it will be whoever is still available come deadline day. As long as we don't sign Hendrix there won't be much toy throwing out of prams from me as my expectations are lower than they have been for two or three years.

ryan nyambe would certainly be top of my shopping cart. tom lawrence or jed wallace would be great additions too especially if either chair or willock depart in the summer.

Two pacy full backs, one attack minded midfielder and three strikers. Don't know their names yet.

Agreed but we need to be proactive and get deals done early doors or will be left with the dregs.

Too many on here downplaying the influence of a Manager to someone that simply picks the team every week. Do you think Alex Ferguson was successful cos he was good at picking teams? He did so well cos he was an extremely good man manager that none of his players wanted to let down. For me, I don't think Warburton looks like a guy that drives that type of environment. He seems like someone that would rather make excuses for "lukey" and "Uncs" or whatever fucking other daft nicknames he chucks about than hold them accountable. You need a Manager that is feared a bit. Not some prick trying to be best mates with all of them.

But neither that doesn't negate my point that Warbs also completely ballsed up his team selections, which is what ultimately cost him his job!

Need to install a manager quick time so he can identify who he wants ... Panic buying and cast offs is all that's left if we leave it late

Wells on a cheap. Why not? He is a player who I would think keeps himself fit and likes to be involved.
