That we are bigger than we currently are
We are not the Qpr of old
To say he would choose Qpr over Rangers or Wolves is a pipe dream chaps
We are a top 10 championship club

Beale is far too accepting of the ‘they’re only human’ angle - he said at the training ground meeting a couple of months back that there is no point hassling refs and things even out over a season - all of which is bollocks in my book. They need telling when they’re shit. They might know the rules but most of the time they don’t know the game. Get on their case and they might learn.

Get on their case and they might learn. agree & kind of pointed that out on the Luton thread. What he said back then misses the psychology of pressurising them during the 90m as and when. That's why top managers do it. They dont hate the officials, but its part of their job to apply pressure as and when. I was an RFU ref, I know all about pressure and how it can get to you. <warning/rant commences> The whole culture of football reffing is fucked. I hate walking down the park and hearing some fat slob of a dad abusing a sixteen year old ref while his 9 year old son on the park dies of embarrassment. At the top level its ludicrous that the ref isnt live. It would change so many things at a stroke. I remember sharing a changing room with two football refs at a corporate sports ground. I was doing the egg chasers they were doing the football. They were both tense, nervous, a bit scared (not just because they were sharing a changing room with me) and silent after their games. I went off for a couple of pints with the rugby boys and they sloped off home. They looked like they hated it. There is an awful lot I could say about how football officiating could change at all levels, but its pointless. The FA are dinosaurs. |

If he continues in his current vein as much as i have taken to him,i cant see him being here that long. If he gets us in playoffs would be some going,automatic would be amazing. He is certainly enhancing his reputation and there are quite a few prem clubs that would have him on their radar. Oh dear |

If club are smart they should really draw up list of 5 potential managers and keep refreshing it so they have immediate options. If your prudent you should probably not stop looking for the next manager as you just don’t know when your going to need use the list

Les was doing the Fulham game last night and they asked him end what happens if SG gets bullet would Beale be option. He laughed said he’s man in demand but got impression they confident he’s here for the season.
