Why would he go to Rangers mate?
High pressure job, very little kudos if it goes well cos "it's only Scotland" and "there are only 2 teams up there". Risks more reputational damage if it goes wrong than glory if it goes well.
If Beale has his eye on a top English job in the future, best statement he can make is getting QPR promoted on a shoestring in his first year of management and keeping them in the Prem in his second.

If Beale has his eye on a top English job in the future, best statement he can make is getting QPR promoted on a shoestring in his first year or management and keeping them in the Prem in his second. First point, as mentioned before he is well regarded, respected and loved by the fans and club. Secondly whatever about 2 teams etc. Rangers are a giant of a club in Europe every season. Massively increased wages no doubt and most importantly sportsmen, managers etc always have the view that they can achieve more, better a team, test themselves. That's how they've got to where they are. Second point, I'd like to hope so yes!

Seems a level headed bloke to me mate. He's picked his first managerial job carefully (apparently). He'll be fully focused on finishing in the top 6 with QPR.
I'll start to worry a.) In the summer if he's being linked to bigger jobs or b.) If genuine top sides start taking an interest.

Both which come with success which I can genuinely see us getting with this guy as he seems so switched on! His rotation of players, in game management with subs, changing formation etc is unreal. Pisses all over MW from what I've seen with these early signs.

Was hlad when Amos and Dozzell came on At ygst time we were being overun in midfield Dickie for Field was a weird one though Went to a back three, which matched them, back five when defending. Closed down space on the flanks. Normally Field would drop into the back line when needed. With the added insurance, playing a back five frees up our WBs more down the flanks and Field in MF. 2nd game in a row he's employed it now, for the first time this season too. Further proves how tactically flexible he is.

Agreed Alan.
Think we'll start seeing 3 at the back more often now that all our CBs are fit.

I'm already getting nervous about MB doing fantastic with us, Glasgow Rangers lose the league again, Van Bronkhorst gets sacked and in they come for our boy Mick! :/ I would relax. He looks like a tubby forklift truck driver in his tight track suit - not the kind of image a prem club goes for. Glasgow Rangers or poss abroad (he is v interested in continental football) are prob a bit more of a danger

I think we were an astute choice for him. London club; coming off a dreadful run; lowered expectations as a result; fairly decent owners and had a kernel of potential. A good season with us and it's job done reputation wise. Top 6 finish and he might be off. Promotion and I think he will stay another year or 2.

I'd guess his goal (secretly) is to get us promoted either this or next season. And if that happened I can't see why he'd want to leave. What better opportunity and challenge would there be for a young up and coming coach to pick his wits at the best, given he'd have a better budget too. And given he's built this squad on an absolute shoestring in comparison to other teams in this division with vastly bigger budgets whom he's now defeating and giving a tactical masterclass to in the process!

I reckon he'll manage in the Prem with QPR mate. then he wont have moved 🤣 True. However my point was that I think he'll only be a Championship level Manager for a couple of years of his career, max.

Another fantastic interview. I can see why the boys are doing so well now. Who wouldn’t want to play for this manager? Got a feeling we are in very good hands.

Another fantastic interview. I can see why the boys are doing so well now. Who wouldn’t want to play for this manager? Got a feeling we are in very good hands. Is a good interview. For me the biggest improvement we have made is defensively. Don't know how many goals we have conceded so far this season compared to this stage last season but imagine it is way less. Sure we were all nervous holding out in the closing stages of the last three wins with just single goal leads but in none of those games was it the Alamo. Over the years, even when we have been riding high, we have always been one of those teams susceptible to the last minute sucker punch. Now we often get it further up the pitch in the closing stages and when we are defending our box we are getting the balls out strongly and restricting teams to long range efforts. We aren't scoring hatfuls but being that strong at the back means we don't always need to.

After 13 rounds we had conceded 18 which is 5 more than this season. We had 17 points, 7 less than now.

You would like to think the club have a buy out clause inserted in MB contract, Potter had an £18m clause in his contract at Brighton.
Sure I read somewhere that we payed £500k to Villa for MB

If he continues in his current vein as much as i have taken to him,i cant see him being here that long.
If he gets us in playoffs would be some going, automatic would be amazing.
He is certainly enhancing his reputation and there are quite a few prem clubs that would have him on their radar.
