Think we need to keep a bit of perspective. Yes he has done very, very well and those like me who were disappointed that Warbs was sacked and didn't immediately embrace Beale are I think a lot more onside now. But we are only 12 games in, lets not go overboard now as we have all seen how that can end. I also still think he made a lot of rookie errors when he arrived so don't see him as some kind of messiah. What I do like is that unlike a lot of stubborn managers he learns and changes (eg he realises now Stef can't play three times a week, that Field isn't a box to box midfielder but a very good defensive one, that this Tim lad might have potential but that at his current level we have just as good players in our squad already).

Whilst I was looking at MB previous videos for confirmation on Richards return I had another listen to his Open All R/s podcast last month.
During the interview he showed he has a great eye for detail when discussing our recent poor record of winning our last match in the hectic 3 game week schedule.
As Westy mentioned in the match thread win the Reading game and with a full 8 days rest before the next game It’s a wonderful start to his tenure.

Well I am going to go overboard about him: what a coup to find this guy and the board has to take full credit for that. As far as I'm concerned it's already plain to see that we have got probably the best manager outside of the premiership. He's that good. I don't need more games to make up my mind, I have never seen a Rangers team, collectively and individually, turn around so fast. My hope is that he has fallen in love with the Rangers project and won't be tempted away for at least the next three seasons.

No one sees him as the messiah. (cue Life of Brian) What we are seeing is modern tactical thinking and a bit of organisation under the cosh, things that were simply absent under Warburton.

My hope is that he has fallen in love with the Rangers project and won't be tempted away for at least the next three seasons. Very, very early days to say he is the best manager outside the premiership after 12 games as a manager, three of which he has lost. You compare him to someone like Sean Dyche and their records don't compare. Of course Beale might develop into a manager with a similar or even better reputation. He might even be the next Pepp or Klopp. But modest bloke that he is, he would be the first to say he isn't there yet. You are of course entitled to think what you like, I just hope you don't then feel too depressed when we go through our inevitable loosing streak, or Beale makes various selection decisions we all disagree with (because it will happen). As the Sheffield Utd manager said, Beale inherited the nucleus of a very, very good squad which a lot of managers would have wanted to get their hands on. He has added to it very well indeed on a shoestring, improved the tactics and after an indifferent start seems now to have buy in from the players. All very positive but I'm not popping any Champagne corks just yet.

Expectations are on the up from reading the board.
We have to keep our feet on the ground.
Difference for me is Mr.Beale.Level headed, speaks well and seemingly knows his onions, very refreshing.

Mick Beale reveals the conversation he had with Ilias Chair in which he told him he would captain the side and gives his thoughts on the upcoming Championship game against Reading FC.
00:00 Chair thought he was being dropped! 02:02 It shows the work the boys are putting in that we can make changes and win 03:41 Field’s role in the team and did you know much about him? 05:23 Challenges of playing three games in quick succession and thoughts on Reading

Also, I can’t remember watching him and not being interested in what he has to say. A breath of fresh air really, as for years, not just at Rangers but almost everywhere, you can pretty much guess what a manager is going to say.

I'm already getting nervous about MB doing fantastic with us, Glasgow Rangers lose the league again, Van Bronkhorst gets sacked and in they come for our boy Mick! :/

Don’t know if it’s the stress of managing us but it looks like he’s lost bit of weight

Wouldn't be beyond belief if they got rid of him, and came for Beale. I do think Beale wouldn't go anywhere now. He knows what he's building here, and is still a novice in the management game.

I don't think there is any doubt Beale is destined for bigger things than QPR. I think it's bananas that fans are concerned about Premier League clubs coming in for him 13 games into his managerial career though. He'll want to do a year or 2 here I'm sure. And perhaps he'll stay longer if he gets up promoted.

Got to say I love listening to his interviews. Refreshingly honest, and insightful. Didn't bother listening to MW at all. Just the same nonsense week in week out.

Mate, last night he said he understood why the ref didn't see the handball for our penalty shout and agreed with the yellow card for Carroll's lunge just before half time. Would have been interesting to see if he'd been as diplomatic if we'd not found a winner. Either way, seems to handle the media very well and I think a good bit of thought goes into almost everything he says publicly.

It's not about 13 games. It's about the fact he's not only very well known and respected in the game but also the fact he is credited by Rangers fans as the brains behind Steven Gerrard and stopping Celtic getting the 10 in a row. He is held in very high regards north of the border. Hopefully cut his teeth with us in the PL
