The worst decision Beale ever made going up to that game last season while Van Brockhurst was there It was literally the day after the Friday night Birmingham game.... Karma's early this season.... And just to really complete the job. The game he was seen at was against Aberdeen.

I am just wallowing in Schadenfreude today, lovely Nice article (not if you're Beale) on the BBC site: "Rangers: Talk is cheap but 'genius' Michael Beale has paid ultimate price at Ibrox"www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66979326

Am I the only one here who has nothing against Beale? He made it clear beforehand that would leave us if Glasgow Rangers came after him.

I'm old enough to remember Tommy Docherty's second stab at management of QPR in 1979...
10 or so years previously he had lasted about a month in charge....
St.Jim Gregory said at the time he left he could have a job with him anytime as a used car salesman...
Gregory swallowed his pride, re-employing saying the Doc had charisma....
I'm similar thinking that Beale the genius could have a job at QPR anytime laying the cones out for Paul Hall....
Give it 10 or so years and think QPR could consider re-employing Michael Beale as manager again....

St Jim spent a lot of money in the Doc's first season at the club.... When the promotion push failed he did recoup a lot or all of it selling Goddard and Allen for £2M between them.... even Stan we made a profit on! Can't forgive him though for the FPR fiasco...

Nope another one here who understands exactly why he took the Rangers job. In fact, to be completely honest, the way some of our fans reacted to him leaving and still do is beyond embarrassing and reeks of dumped teenagers.

Overreached himself and crashed and burned. Who in their right mind would manage Rangers?

Went behind Van Bronkhorst's back while he was still in post. Results at QPR seem to show he lost interest as soon as Rangers came sniffing. Loyalty, integrity? My arse. He's weedling two-faced shit who got found out.

I thought he would have been good here, his level and learning his trade as he improved us BUT he clearly lied about the Wolves fiasco so it wasn’t just about ‘always going to leave for G Rangers’ - he’d have fucked off before then and when that opportunity went he engineered the move to Glasgow. Job too big for him. No sympathy.

Don't get me wrong I've no sympathy either, he bit off more than he can chew, made a bit of a prat of himself and, if we're being honest, set himself up financially for life by being shit. However, that's one thing. Another is acknowledging that he had to seriously consider taking the job and understanding why it proved impossible to turn down. However, as said above, the way a considerable amount of fans have continued to harbour hatred for him should have a lot of people seriously considering if they may just take this thing far too seriously. It's a job for the players and managers.

Then a) the club are fucking idiots, and b) Beale isn't just a scumbag, he's a spineless one for doing it if he's been "forced" and not telling the club to piss off.
