Celar Frey Kolli Dykes
Current pecking order, for me.
And we know Marti only likes one up top.

Frey has looked just as poor as Dykes for me Stan. He was overweight and without a pre season to be fair to him. Let’s judge him on what we see this season.

The "thing" with Armstrong is that his power and speed are enough to make up for his short comings. Most of the time that is.. Good things to have Shania but we saw today with Kolli and Lloyd that it’s much more important to be able to play football. They don’t have his pace but they seem to have more talent.

Lloyd’s been out long enough and Kolli looks ready to be around. But then I have previous about sending out young players who should be knocking on the door.

That will be far better for his development then training four days a week with pros. We screwed up Armstrong not sending him out so let’s get it right this time with someone who looks like they have the ability and talent. If he’s not going play send him out.

Frey has looked just as poor as Dykes for me Stan. He's returned leaner, fitter and already banged a few in this pre-season (can only score against what's in front of you). Including an excellent finish v Spurs dubiously ruled offside.

Including an excellent finish v Spurs dubiously ruled offside. still questions to be answered. Looked slimmer and fitter but ball never stuck to him. Think he has a part to play but think it might be off the bench.

Just looks like Donkey Mk2 to me.

His positional play off the ball looks more sussed than LD's and he looks more composed on it. Dykes for me always looked like the Aussie Rules merchant he originally was. Someone decided there was the makings of a footballer there but the project remains frustratingly unfinished. Also I question his attitude. Decent throw in on him mind....... It's telling that there has been absolutely zero interest in him apart from when Wall were sniffing round him and Les inexplicably turned them down. Like I always said, I wouldn't have had our long serving DoF running the corner shop.

So have we given up on another striker.
Celar. Dykes. Frey.
Dont look to promising with week and half before season starts.

Again: We simply need another CF, because we can't rely on Zan Celar alone. Frei and Kolli are probably not good enough should Celar get injured.

Euros - So what? Donkey has been here 4 years. I wouldn’t call it promising by any stretch of the imagination.

The Paradox that is "Donkey". Mad thing is, Scotland fans were actually gutted to see him injured. Obviously those of us that watch him week in, week out realise he's close to fucking useless, but the hope remains in me that he'll fuck off this summer and fetch us a couple of million quid.

I'll get in there early and point out that Frey is a sack of shite and is purpose built for assuming the "donkey" moniker after Dykes fucks off. Agree on the rest though, like the look of Kolli.
