Most of you will be going to watch us vs Palace, but I'm a hardcore fan and I'll be at Hampton to watch the QPR x11.
Nothing to do with me living 10 minutes away from Hamptons ground.
Hoping a few first team players are playing.
As for the Palace game, looks like their team will be semi strong. Eze coming back will be good.
Interesting to see how we start as I imagine that'll be our strongest 11. Need to get 90 minutes under their belts though, not sure many have that?

not terribly, we're moving the ball around well and getting it forward. had a few half chances but nothing amazing in terms of good shots but we've still dominated for a few minutes here and there.
palace have for sure been the better side but it's not been a total cakewalk for them, plus they have a literal cheatcode in zaha who's been amazing this game lol

Game of two halves. Looked a decent competitive side first half but not really at the races second.
If we’re going be a pressing team then they need do some serious hard work on that as it looked pretty uncoordinated, On many occasions three closing one man who slips ball then three out the game need be much cleverer where and when to press.
Really sloppy from dead balls as on few occasions totally switched off and the Eze came from people switching off and not closing.
Was not a pen that was shocking decision but get bad decisions out way in pre season!!
New manager so benefit of doubt but compare that performance to what we saw last year against United and Leicester and it’s chalk and cheese.
Thought few players looked unfit too
Stef looked more his old self, Kakay ok, field busy. Dozzell not starter for me can see why they have brought Taylor in or Amos takes his place

I would like Dozzell to go forward more often, because it`s a waste of talent if he doesn`t or is not allowed to.

Johansen is the same player he was last season, taking passes off defenders, then returning the pass backwards putting his teamate under pressure.When he did attempt forward incisive passes they never found their target.
Adomah was poor again just like he was against Wealdstone.Club should not have renewed his contract imo.
Dykes ran around a bit but never looks likely to score unless the planets align and the ball falls kindly for him.
Kakay was decent but started to make mistakes in the second half.
Dozzell was largely anonymous but did play 2 defence splitting passes which puts him ahead of Johansen for me.

A wake up call for Beale. Should have learn't a lot from this.
Can't read too much into the result though again a top half PL team. No surprise there at all, especially with Willock, Tyler and Amos all out, and Richards still to come in. All four of those will be available next week:
