Chair is and will continue to be a problem to this team as long as he starts. Does not influence games enough. we did well when he was at AFCON Look at what happened when he came back.

Ok, only one game but worrying that the comments are the same as last season.

we did well when he was at AFCON Look at what happened when he came back. Yeah, but that was down to manager putting him straight back in and spoiling it when we had some momentum.

Looking toothless up front and hopeless at the back. Not a good combination.

Absolutely toothless. Work to be done. Players need to step up because 0 shots on target at professional level is embarrassing

Looking toothless up front Not after Armstrong, Bonne and Richards came on. Only problem was bringing them on after 80 instead of 60.

Fine margins. Should be leaving there nil nil with a draw if people close down the space edge of box. But alas we never snd we walk away with sod all
No change from back end of last season on that showing

Dozzell and Dykes not worth a place in the squad imo. Edit: In the team.

Field, Dozzell, Johanson in the middle? Lol. Zero attacking threat. Zero goals.

0 shots on target today is not acceptable for any team
Hoping Beale can start to put a team together asap
Dykes is so painful he needs to be dropped immediately
Come on Rangers sort it out asap for some points on the board
Early day though yet hopefully will come together

I said before today the club need to get him a striker or he would struggle and nothing has changed my thinking. We needed it in January and it cost us and unless addressed it could cost us even more this season.

Poor performances all over the pitch, Johansen, Field and Kakay were ok, more disappointed MB seemingly still hasn’t recognised Dykes is beyond salvage.

I think he gave him a chance to prove himself. Yes I understand, but perhaps not to the continual detriment of other players opportunities and more importantly the clubs results. Dykes should have been hooked before half time as he spent more time falling over his own feet today. Ferdinand said on a podcast released today he watches training every day, he must realise he’s not a footballer of Championship standard.

All that said, most strikers would have struggled today with the amount and quality of service we provided

Like acricketer imply, the service he got today wasn`t much to write home about. However I agree that he should been substituted much earlier. Around the hour mark would have made a difference given how well Bonne and Armstrong performed.

not the greatest performances and there's clearly still stuff to work and improve on but there are positives at least.
i thought kakay had a solid game, got forward much more and looks more willing to take players on which is a farcry when compared to last season. i don't think he's our answer to RB but i'd be more than happy to be proven wrong and he's a good backup option at least.
richards looks like a very tidy player, his introduction turned the game more in our favour. not much mind you as he was only on the pitch for 15 minutes but there was a noticeable improvement when he came on.
bonne needs to start ahead of dykes, he did more in 15 minutes than the cabbertosser did in 75. he knows how to lead the line, links up with players and has far more of a presence up top than dykes who plays like the championship joelinton (in his striker days).
armstrong too looks handy, he should have scored but even so he makes runs and is always looking to get into the box. he's a unit too, there was one occassion were a blackburn defender literaly bounced off of him when he came in from behind. i'd be very happy to see him start against middlesbrough as we have a real gem on our hands.

The more he is picked to start, the more the fanbase will start to hate him. For his and our sakes, it’s time the dof took some responsibility and hold his hands up and admit he was wrong to spend 2mil on that piece of garbage.

Agree with all of this corbs. Think richards could be a key player for us and needs to be starting from now on.
